How does grouping work for multiple players with multiple ships? Can you group in space or only prior to launching ship? Also if you are grouped prior to launch with several people and a y wing is used does it just select anyone in group for gunner? I'm only a 1-1-0-0 Pilot so I havent got to that second tier yet

I've heard conflicting reports, but as best I can tell:
- Players who have not earned their initial first tier pilot box are invisible and cannot be grouped with
- Space is instanced, so it is suggested that people group on the ground then send their group leader up first, otherwise group members may be sent to a different instanced zone of the same space sector.
People in multiperson ships should also go up first. As to what happens to groups with multiple multi-person ships or seperate groups that want to battle each other... you got me.

Can anyone else comment on this? A dev's perspective would be greatly appreciated. This should not be so complicated or more info in the help pages would be useful for new players imho.
