Okay, I'm curious to know how many JTL people have ditched their houses in favour of just living on their ships ? Right now, all I have is my Sososub Yacht, which is pretty nice, but only holds 75 items - same as a small house - so I still have a medium house on Naboo. Any ideas if other ships you can get as a pilot can hold more than 75 items ?

I doubt it. I wish they would actually base the lot cost on how many items you had in ships and houses. That way we would have the option of having more items in less houses or smaller houses. It's been suggested by many other player to use some sort of system such as:
<76 items = 1 lot
>75 & <151 items = 2 lots
>150 & <226 items = 3 lots
Or something like that.

actually it should be 100 items per lot since that is what a factory holds.
each house should have a spot on the terminal that delegates lots to buildings for storage and maintenance should be based of the lots allocated to that building. same for factories and ships.
i also think that each person should be restricted to having two houses up at any one time in conjunction with the lot hting. this would pretty much end urban sprawl or bring it to a dull roar.

Yeah.. every FAQ I've seen says 150 items for a small and medium house. 250 for a large.

Because that small Naboo house requires 2 lots. The small round Naboo house only requires 1 lot but can only hold 75 items.

The current system is 75 items/lot with a 250 item limit.
Merchant Tents/Small Nabooian ROUND House - 75 items, 1 lot.
Small Houses - 150 items, 2 lots.
Medium Houses - 150 items, 2 lots.
Large Houses/Guild Halls- varied lots, 250 items.
Multiplayer Ships - 75 items, 1 lot.
