I'm not 100% certain if that is intended or not. I would guess not, but I'll add it to my list of things to check on.

May not be as intended, but I will verify it. I get my own vote without casting it, and any new citizen places a default vote for me as soon as residence is declared.

Well none of the votes count till the moment the election closes.... so being informed of what's going on, you can easily kick / shove the voting terminal alittle and change your vote that simple.. its only when new citizens join. after there participation in an election, they wil have to remember to return to city hall and vote for whomever.... all i know is if i move to a new city, i would want to know more about what's going on with the mayor and be checking out what's what

I have had the votes of myself and others (including my alt) reset to the incumbent. We then had to revote. I honestly didn't play all that much since that started last week, but we just started a new election, so I'll keep my eye on it.

If you're using a flamer this could be the result of 'burning'. I found this out when invest grinding with a heavy plasma flamer.

ah yes i respeced to commando once and i found out some creatures dont die when attacked with the plasma ft, they get sorta like "incapped" and they continue to burn and eventually get up and u hit em again until they die. id say this is ur best bet if ur using an ft. otherwise i got no clue
