My ship name would probably be either "Blue Hawk" or the "Millenium Raven".

Well way back in prerelease I had a storyline where I had a Z-95 called the Dragonsnake, which both my character and the ship had its start in West End Games Star Wars RPG. As long as we really do get the option to really upgrade ships I will stick with a Z-95. However I may be swayed by the b-wing even though it was never a tactically reliabel ship, just had big guns.

After reading this I'm starting to get a bit worried about the space expansion. I don't hate that you can name your ship, I'm just gonna hate see'ing all these stupid names for them. I think the only ship that should be namable is the YT-1300. And definitely no names for Imperial ships. I know one thing for sure, in a big battle I'm more likely to target the ship with the dumbest name first just to vent.

Unfortunately, I'm a little boring when it comes to ship names. I used to play eve, where all my ship names told some sort of a story (to me anyway), and I doubt JTL will be any different. I had things like 'Hope' and 'Peace' for unarmed industrial ships flying through low security space, I had 'Behind The Times' and 'Long Overdue' for the two ships that took me longer to get than they should have.
I also had a 'Blockade Runner' for my fast unarmedtransport ship, and 'One Way Ticket' when I knew I wasn't coming home.That's the kind of thing I'll be looking at when naming my JTL ships.

I'm going to call mine 'After You'
That way I can impress the ladies by telling them...
"But darling I named my ship after you!"
