When you craft one of the paintings, instead of selecting "Create Prototype" use the "Create Draft Schematic" option. You must be near acrafting station to be able to make a draft schematic.
This lets you put the draft schematic you just made into a structure factory, and you can make crates of paintings (up to 1000 per schematic).
The only thing about making draft schematics is that you MUST use the exact same resources you used to make the schematic - so the exact same name/type of resource.
If you used 10 units of Blarbalag (Nabooian Leathery Hide) to make your schematic, to make 100 paintings you must put a stack of 1000 Blarbalag (Nabooian Leathery Hide) into the factory, and likewise with any other resources you use to make the painting (multiply the resources used to make the initial schematic by 100). Your structure factory will have an option to tell you "list resources needed for schematic" which will tell you the names of the resources you must use.
Blarbalag would be the random name that the resource is assigned (change about weekly with each new spawn of resources) - I just made Blarbalag up, haha.

I dont know if they changed anything with the schematics lately, but when i bought the schematics (about 1 year ago) you had the option to make a factory schematic from it...
So if you have enough resources you can make 1000 paintings with only 1 schematic use

Another question I just though of about paintings, what are the blank canvas and paint dispersal units for? are there another set of paintings that can be crafted using those tools? or would they be the same ones from the curator? dunno if this is even considered an architect deal. would be great though if someone has a list of the paintings that can be made with that tool and how to use them. a sticky link would work too i suppose if this already exists, im just fairly new to the architect forums as i spend most of my time in the tailor and politician forums.
