According to a JTL report from the San Diego Comic Con-that was posted here a while back-the joystick being used there was a Logitech 3D Extreme Pro, so I'll buy myself one of those.

Bogo Sun

"War is an ugly thing, but not the ugliest of things. The decayed and degraded state of moral and patriotic feeling which thinks that nothing is worth war is much worse. The person who has nothing for which he is willing to fight, nothing which is more important than his own personal safety, is a miserable creature and has no chance of being free unless made and kept so by the exertions of better men than himself."

I own a Logitech Force 3D and i was wondering if anyone could get a dev to verify that there will be force feedback support.

I must recommend the Logitech extreme digital 3D...I own one and I msut say it's a great deal for its price...the joystick has enough buttons, but not too many to confuse people, doesn't feel at all like a toy, feels a lot like a real plane even without force feedback (sticks harder to move than normal ones, which is good) the throttle is great and well positioned and best off all, this thing can take a beating. I've dropped it twice and it still runs fine, no problems (beside a tiny bit of unbalence, if you don't touch it you go a tiny bit to the right, like 1/2 of a degree...all in all a very small cost for droppping it when my friend had to buy a new one after 1 drop)

Just got the Logitech Extreme 3d Pro, and it is pretty damn sweet. I can't wait to give it a try...

in my personal experience a separate throttle is more of a preference than a "why the hell is this throttle not seperate!!" kinda thing. Its convenient to have the throttle maybe a few inches apart from the stick like some of the Saitek sticks but its really wont be a game breaking experience killer. If you can find a less encumbrancing stick (doesnt have you fumbling all over the place to do a simple action) and it has nice array of buttons you wont go wrong. As you can see the Logitech 3D Extreme Pro seems very ideal (enough that devs use it each time they demo the game for the public). But if your looking for seperate throttle action then i'd look into Saitek sticks like the Saitek X45
All in all it comes down to personal preference.

Have we seen any official word about what joysticks, and features, will be supported?

400??? I bought my X36 for $99 at Compusa about 5 years ago, since then, I got another dirt cheap for space parts

X45 is $75 at Compusa...Thrustmaster and CH are a little more expensive.. CH is the extreme, their stuff is like it was stripped right out of a real airplane, that stuff lasts forever (you don't want the pilot snapping the controlls while in flight).
