Just tossing this out: the re-spec would probably be limited to moving skillpoints to the branch that was just made mandatory for novice tka, for example drop novice medic and put the sp's into the 2H tree. Highly doubt that anyone would be able to move sp's to go from TKM to MBH. But who really know right now?

I am a pikeman and I am thinking of picking up the FS Melee accuracy and Melee speed tree.
Just to be sure, I can drop these FS skills whenever I like? Or do I have them forever?

if you go down the path of jedi, you cannot drop them because you have to have at least 6 branches at jedi, but for the time being, yeah you can drop them

As of right now the only way to stop a rooftop master from running from a fight is if your lucky enough to kd him and just pound on him, does anyone know if there is any powers comeing in the cu to "counter" force run?? thanks in advance.

At this time, no.
That is not to say that they won't change it in the future and there is no guarantee about what might happen to your tent then.

just wondering something.
i am currently of the imperial faction, and have master imperial pilot skills.
my question is, if i change my faction to neutral, will i lose all my skills or be allowed to keep them?
i know that if you are neutral faction, you can be a imperial in space, what i dont know, is if switching your ground faction leads to the loss of all your pilot skills?

You must be an Imperial on the ground to be Imperial in space. If you resign from the Imperial ground forces you will lose your Pilot skill.

Earlier you could be neutral on ground and be imperial or rebel pilot.
Since a few patches ago this is not possible anymore. You HAVE to be imperial on the ground as well to be an imperial pilot. (same for rebel of course).
You can be Imperial/rebel on the ground and Neutral Pilot (Freelancer), that still works of course.
But if you go to your Faction Recruiter and tell him you want to resign and actually agree to it (I think you get a checkbox you have to confirm), then you will loose all Pilot Skills, all Pilot XP and all Pilot Prestige points, and you will be civilian on the ground.

Go on leave, it is almost neutral, with the exception of the occasional scan you won't be bothered in pve or pvp.
