do jedi still have perma-death or did they remove that and if they still have it does anyone know if you have to start all over with a new char with jedi abilitiesordo you have to start collecting badges from the begining again? thanks to those who help

Hmm, good question and not something I know offhand or can find in the knowledge base. I'll have to see if I can find out by trial and error, though it's definitely at least 12 characters (since that's the longest name among my current pets).

If i start grinding pilot now as a jedi and i die, will i lose xp? I am 95% sure the answer is no, but would like confirmation.

Negative. Unless you're in a multi-passenger ship, but I'm not sure if they changed that.
