And telling me to eat crow is supposed to be offensive? ROFL you can do better than that. You wonder why people get pissed about tards posting this stuff? Well Ill give you a hint there are at least 10 of these posts a day and sometimes more. We get alot of good posts on these forums that would be great for a developer to look at them but guess what? They only last on the front page a few hours due to your worthless post.

So much new stuff, so many new issues, so much new information, so much to consider, so many new variables! Help!

(Assume I am limited to large glasses for lack of a steady supply of casks, and that I don't have a steady enough supply of BE additives to do factory runs of BE food, or that I don't want to put in the time and effort to make the uberest of the uber foods that can possibly be made under the new system, all of which is true.)

Question #1: What's selling? OK, I can't go three minutes without a request for Vasarian Brandy. What else? Anything else?

Question #2: I assume that if something is hovering around 51 or 52 filling, for instance, we want to spend a couple experimentation points to get that down to 50 so that the player can use two rather than 1. The same with anything around 34 or 35, to get it down to 33. However, it doesn't make sense to me tospend all the experimentation points to make a huge jump from 50 down to 33, or from 33 down to 25. Is this generally accepted Chef thinking right now?

Question #3: Duration of the buff seems to be the least valuable thing to players right now? Agree/disagree?

Question #4: Quality of buffs and quantity of buffs is where I have been putting most of my experimentation points. First, players love the uber stuff. Second, players would rather have items with a large number of uses for convenience, and most Chefs including me charge by the use, so bumping that up increases my profitability a bit. Anyone else thinking this way, or disagree here?

Question #5: Why in the heck do I keep getting emails asking me to take Flameout out of my inventory when I can't seem to be able to remove it? Anyone else dealing with this?

All of the master stat buffs work well, and sell. Accaragm and kiwik for the dancers you know. Gorrmorl and Won-Won for the Melee crowd. Everyone love the Brandy and Vagnerian Canape for the mind

Can't say what's generally accepted. I, personally, like to bring the flavor up, filling down until I insure that the product can be used non-stop. With a 30 minute stomach it is fairly simple to see what duration is needed to balance the filling. For example a 50 percent filling will require a duration of 15 mins, minimum. Beyond this my top concern is, and always will be, nutrition.

Question #3: Duration of the buff seems to be the least valuable thing to players right now? Agree/disagree?

See above, but I disagree. If balanced against filling, the nutrition is the most important, i feel.

Again, see above. Personally, I don't care about quantity. I don't base my price upon it, and with stacks that last for each session, a crate can tide a person over for a week if not a month. That is WITHOUT worrying about boosting quantity through experimentation.

Question #5: Why in the heck do I keep getting emails asking me to take Flameout out of my inventory when I can't seem to be able to remove it? Anyone else dealing with this?

Flameout (the old one) was considered unbalancing. Destroy any crates you have. The mail appears whenever you try to access a crate.

Hope that helps,

Misterie

*edited to replace nutrition with flavor - to reflect duration in #2*

Pick a base profession, master it, then master all the ones above it. Then move to the next tree and start there.

1: Make sure you're not near a crafting station.
2:XP gets bugged from time to time, try shuttling to another town/planet or just relog on/off. Any Xp you 'missed' will be shown next time you re-log if the XP GUI bug is the cause.
3: Make sure the food you are crafting is a food XP item, not artisan XP

All gone. Nothing to see now. Bye Bye Ahazi most of you guys were cool
