If you have the tools but don't know how to use them, you might as well not have them. My guildmates have helped me out by logging on their jedi's and letting me have a go at them, pointing out what i am doing wrong, and what things could make me better. Go to your guild for practice, thats what they're there for.

Exactly what these guys said...The template you're working on is a good one. Finish it, and start practicing alot with it. Then pony up some cash for some good armor and an uber gun..then practice more..

After you can hold your own against your guild, move to the PvP mecca on your server (Theed in my case). Then get some of the resident GCW activists to help. Most will be happy to duel you. When you can last against most of them, you're in good form.
