Thread: Your ship's name
When I get my Royal Guard Interceptor it going to be "Mask of the Red Death".
Let's see, my current ships on my Imperial character:
Eta-2 Actis Interceptor "Windrazor": No one is quite sure where Colonel Defensor of Storm Squadron obtained the Actis; due to it's rarity and history, it is widely speculated it was a gift or reward from a very high-ranking official in the Imperial Navy, possibly even from a source close to the Emperor himself. As a highly decorated member of Storm Squadron, and due to his rank, Mightion Defensor is wisely spared inquiries into the origin of his rare prize. Official reports are few, but there are several willing testimonies by certain Imperial officers as to the vessel's (and pilots) prowess in service to the Empire. Colonel Defensor is also not required to explain the origin of the ship's name.
Royal Guard Interceptor "Sky Shadow": The origin of this vessel is quite public - Colonel Defensor was lauded for his service to the Imperial Navy above the Wookiee planet of Kashyyyk - almost single-handedly capturing and delivering to Imperial control, a Corvette which was being used by the Rebellion. The Emperor himself was not only impressed with the rare prize delivered to him, but also Colonel Defensor's report as to the actual formidable strength of the Ghrag pirates, rather than simply blindly dismissing them as weak. It is believed that this show of absolute honesty was instrumental in winning the colonel his prize.
The vessel has been seen escorting diplomatic craft for a high-level planetary official of the planet Dantooine; where Colonel Defensor has his home in the sprawling Avatar Metropolis. The distinctive red craft has also been seen doing combat testing above Dantooine and Kashyyyk. There have been rumored scathing reports of this ship in message fragments intercepted from Ghrag pirates.
YT-49 Decimator "Ruination": Upon being awarded with the rank of Imperial Pilot Champion, Colonel Defensor was of courselicensed to purchase and operate a number of higher-level Imperial Navy ships. He has chosen a YT-49 Decimator, which is in the process of its initial shakedown cruise. It is rumored that Colonal Defensor has upgraded several components several times even before it has seen extensive action. The ship is equipped with a small sickbay, passenger lounge, and captain's quarters with military-level access to the Holonet. The vessel is also reported packed with armament fitting of it's name, but once again, Colonel Defensor is not required to reveal the specifics of it's shielding and armament except to his superiors. Indeed, since all craft owned and operated by Imperial officers are under official command of the Imperial Navy, to release such information publicly would be a punishable offense.

My yacht is named 'Soundwave'
My JSF is named 'Ravage'
My IG Interceptor is named 'Laserbeak'
My Aggressor is named 'Rumble'
I hope the theme is obvious to everyone.
- Decimator - Obliterator, I tried to keep with imperial capital ship naming conventions
- Oppressor - Bestine Belle - inspired by the Memphis Belle
- Interceptor - MaiTIE - Tried to do kind of a WWII thing, and who doesn't love a drink or two =)
- Bomber - TIE Miner- more of a function than a name
- Y-8 - Rachel S - after my lovely wife - all the crabbers here on the Chesapeak Bay name their boats after their wives/girlfriends so I figured my workboat would be the same
- JSF - No name yet - Due to the controversy created by jeallous rebelsI don't really use this one much so no name yet =)
YT = whips and chains
The interior is decorated as you might expect given the name.
