Would just like to say... For no reason in the world should Titles give visibility.
Titles are OOC (Out of Character) for you non-informed people, and in this imaginary world thats supposed to be as realistic as possible, think of it as in real life.. You dont see peoples jobs titles above their heads in real life do you? No.
This is a game, when you see people's titles thats an OOC setting for the PLAYER, not the CHARACTER.
There's a big difference between the PLAYER and the CHARACTER. Please try to learn.

The robe and title may not give vis but it gives the sickos in the game ammunition to mess with you. My brother did not have his robe on or title up but he did have his Alliance Pilot tag one night. When a BH did have his mission they did a /who and saw the tag. They tried to tell my bro that they were rebels and needed help with a mission.
The one of the funniest part of that little event was seeing all those dots rush the door of our cantina. My brother was looking to get his vis cleared anyway and figgured he'd put on a show to make them feel like it wasn't a total waste...he almost killed them both but the trash talker FD'd. Then the rest of the goon squad rushed in he got away that night and let the one that follow him the next day kill him after a cat and mouse chase on dant...at one point he caught up to the BH by mistake and had to stop and turn around....sorry got side-tracked...just be careful where you decide to wear your robe till you are done with your template.
Unless you are completely careless or have the worst luck with spawns you should have a good idea when you might be on the terms. Myself I managed to dodge the terms down to my last 4 boxes when I decided tohelp a friend with his exit quest.

I knew id get flamed for that but guess what? Robes and titles give a different kind of visibility dork. The kind where some punk BH sees that your a jedi and runs right over to the mission term and grabs a mission for you, or sends a tell (kind of like our friend here) that makes the jedi log off or go into hiding all night. Then he sits back and thinks "another jedi losing exp either by me killing him or by not levelling cause hes sitting in his house". But bounty hunters would never do that right? And you call ME a noob? Get a clue. You wonder why you get hassled. Dont advertise that your a jedi.
BTW, 2 completed templates without a single bounty hunter after me. Can yousay the same?

Not on purpose anyway, but dant was laggin pretty bad, a couple of possible drivebys occured, though I don't think enough to warrent a mission for me, but meh, never know.

Thing is if i did get enough visibility to be on the terms, won't I only have barely enough to have one mission, and if it is already taken, he won't be able to find it right? Luring me into a false sense of security

I thought you had to accumulate enough to warrent more then one mission? bleh what do i know

If I were you I would bank my XP and not learn any skills so that if you were on the terms death to a BH would not place you into negative XP.
