Unfortunately there are quite a few bugs around atm. the xp cap for lots of professions being one of them.

Hopefully it will get fixed quickly but until then just hold tight

use the respec to your advantage. as you hunt, harvest and train up the remaining two trees of scout. then respec them into a Tier I box of CH. after that the 20k cap rises to whatever it is for a Tier II box, and you are set --asuming the buzz is correct and the only bugged cap is the tier I

Bump.

Still an issue. BTW, i cant respec because i started this char after CU went live. Still stuck at 20k xp. 4x xp dont help much if you cant earn any. 4*0=0xp. This needs to be fixed asap!

my wife is in the same boat. novice ch capped at 20k. she went to csr chat and they said "no idea why that is happening, file a csr ticket, its a new bug" then i find this post and mention it to him. his response to me is simply "its a known bug". and cant transfer standard points from scout to ch elite points, wont let you.

Oh not true, I'm working on Scout exp right now! Of course every few creatures agro on me and since CH is the only profession I get combat levels from they all one shot me and I get killed a lot, but luckily my items are insured! Of course even though I am insuring them they are still decaying when I die, but at least I am cloning! Of course I am not since when you try to clone in the Labor camp on Yavin 4 it just says you cannot reach the item, move closer, but at least I'm not paying for this! /sigh

I'm having the exact same problem. There is absolutley no point in doing creature handler right now because (unless you respec) you can't get past the 20k xp cap.

I think I'm going to try a different profession until they get this fixed...it's sad because I really wanted to try Creature Handler
