Hey TH, can we put vendors in ships? I think that would be cool for the bar when I open up my buisness.
Yes, you can put furniture and anything else you could place in a player structure on the ground.
You can only launch one multiplayer ship at a time though and you can only have "stuff" in one multiplayer ship at a time. So If you are flying around in your YT-1300 and want to land and Head out on the Yacht, you will have to empty the first vehicle of all it's items. Otherwise players would load up both ships and it would lead to a lot of dead database space.

Thanks. I wish I had a better answer, but the technology just isn't there yet (in general). The hard decisionshere were driven by technical concerns and development challenges.

There are also technical limitations with having more than one multiplayer vehicle decorated at the same time. That won't be possible. I wish it were different, but it can't be. Sorry.
Oh well. I'd hoped that was an easy fix. I guess we'll just have to pick our favorite ship and stick with it for now. Thanks for looking into it and letting us know.
That sucks. Guess I'm not decorating my imp multi-craft.

What are the people complaining wanting in this ship exactly? (pls tell)
I'm happy using it as a spectator ship
TH next beta phase needs some more information like if pre-odering is the only way in?
If you want into beta, you should be registered. As has been said, JtL Ships at the end of October. The Pre-Order Beta Pack is most likely going to be the last phase of beta.
Hi there TH cool ship.
One question if i have the yacht and i have stuff in it like chairs and what have you, can i launch any multi-pass ship with its upgrades and no other stuff in it, so i can fly combat missions with one and go on spce hols in the other.
Now to other people why would you need 2 mult-pass ships, if you are in a guild and are doing a combat mission you will only need 1 combat multi-pass ship for every 3-4 people and if you are going site seeing then the yacht should be able to hold 10-20 people so you would only need 1 for every 10-20 people.
If the question i asked TH is yes then this will not be a problem.

Totally understandable, but how about taking the items in a ship and moving them to a players safe box in the bank assuming they have room available. This could be a toggle option or an ingame command to transfer items in and out of it. This of course would go along with the whole 'remembering' where objects were placed.
Hey thats a thought. Maybe you could add a "transfer cargo" command that transfers all your stuff out of one ship and into a storage box in the other. And anything that isn't taken out of the storage box is put back where if belonged if the "cargo" is transfered back to the original ship.

TH .. you've told us that we arent going to get decorations on 2 ships. Can you find out if making the yacht upgradeable is still on the table? If it's not, there is absolutly no use for this craft (sorry art team).
While I wouldn't mind being able to decorate multiple ships, I don't think that this ship will be worthless if it can't be upgraded and you can't have another multiplayer ship at the same time (not to me at least, or a number of other people I know). For myself, I had always planned on the yacht being just that, my own private luxury yacht. If I was heading into dangerous territories I'd make sure to have some people in fighters running escort for me (and whoever is aboard as my guests). If I want to go out and shoot stuff, I'll hop in a fighter, thats what they're made for.
But thats just my opinion... everyone's entitled to their own.
Is there any concern that this ship's invulnerability will be used as an exploit? Certainly somebody could use the ship to "cover" another player from fire. In my opinion this would only be a problem when it comes to PvP, but I was wondering if you guys had thought of this and what your opinion is?
Could you check your PM's too? I'm going to send you something on a related note...
I just wanted to chime in and say that I was amazed after seeing the interior screenshots. The interior design and the number of windows makes this ship a fantastic location to host a wedding in space, or some other special roleplaying event. This really is a very special veteran reward
Question: Will only the ship's owner be able to place decorations, or could I hire an interior designer and give that person admin-like rights to place furniture, etc?
