Gee Im glad we know what was fixed. Hope we arent paying you too much that your getting too lazy to tell us what your doing.
Then today telling us you change rates of stuff as you see fit. Im glad Were paying your Paychecks to get smart ass comments and to be ignored on a daily basis in the issues threads.
STOP STEALTH NERFING and Address the community. Seems Communication is going back downhill even though we have multiple Community manager people now.
*hands suba a tissue.
May I ask what you do for a living? Im guessing its not Public Relations with a thread like this.
Preception, coupled with the fact that you're gonna let something so small tear into you.
Like "Fixed Issues", personalyI dont care to read about a Rebel NPC in Anchorhead that has broken waypoint.
"Nerfing Rates" Unless you're talking about something else, they fixed the drop rates on krayts that were broken & YES They can change things as they see fit. It's their game and they have far more tools to understand it than we do.

Wether you agree with the guy's opinion about the problems he sees in the game doesnt warrent that kind of childish response (*hands suba a tissue*??? what kind of comment was that to say.....grow up dude). What is a mountain to one can be a mole hill another. The insensitivity you display is the same attitude that I have found in most Customer Service, and in that light I agree with the original poster. Your not cool because you can use clever quips on a forum to put someone else down you disagree with, you just succeed in looking immature.
Your comment:
I feel if you get past the original posters rants you would find that he deals with too good issues that have been brought up before by vet players. Lack of information concerning patchs (I would have loved to read a little about the GCW change before logging on and spending 2 hours+ dying 23 times trying to make it from the Cnet cloning center to the starport and then to Dantooine to drop my faction from the Reb faction spawns that camped those locations; being a casual player I dont have the time to log onto TC and create a character to test), and stealth nerfs which has been addressed time and time and time again by vet players. You dont find out about critical changes to your profession untill after you log on next, which leads to you changing your template to adjust, which leads to another grind and another player away from actually playing the game in leu of repreparing his character to fit his style of game play.
You guys keep asking what the original poster does for a living over and over again and state you bet its not public relations (it is understood that this was supposed to be a clever quip to show how nimple and snazzy and funny you guys are...reality check it wasnt funny). My response is who cares what the guy does. Whether the guy is a politican, construction worker, or 7 year old kid, his real life proffesion has nothing to do with this game nor the issues he presented. True you may not like or agree with the manner he said it and if you dont simply correct him or read and move on. This forum comedy central to see who has the funniest put down is lacking and boring to me.
You are absolutley right concerning the renting issue and I feel that is what players need to realize. For all their suggestions and comments that they post concerning issue with this game, in the end the devs will do what they want despite player suggestions or comments. IMO most players are still playing this game because they are beguiled into thinking that the devs actually listen to them and may perhaps address their issues. You are right, in reality player has NO SAY in how the game is developed. And in that light people need to look at the game for what it is: Broken professions, an extremely long and pointless grind to gain exp in professions when in fact the game professions should be easy to obtain with empasise put on actual game play, Jedi oriented, lack of content, lack of continuity, poor customer service, and promise of various changes some of which have been promised for over 2 years. In the end the game will become a online version of Jedi Academy since after the CU most professions will only be able to take on meatlumps with only a few credits as reward and no real usable loot. Jedi will be the only ones able to continue to solo high end mobs and gain any perks there of, especially if they took advantage of the no-decay kits. Soon SWG will be flooded with Player Jedi Masters that will laugh and stomp the crap out of the best equipped Master Bounty Hunter even in a group.
When you look at the reality of the state of the game that you are "renting" people need to do a reality check and ask themselves is it worth continuing to pay 15$ a month?

Since I pay for the game I would think that I should have a simlar or darn close understanding to them. I didnt buy the game to play "someone elses game" I orgianlly bought it because I THOUGHT the gist of the game was to create and develop a character in a Star Wars setting within the paramaters set in the way that I choose. If you cant understand a game (even after 2 years of playing it) does it make sense to continue to play it? That is like you taking a car to a mechanic to fix a problem of ticking in your engine and he returns later to tell you "Yea we fixed that problem you complained about..." and thats it. YOU might like that reponse, but I actually like to know that they removed my headers and replaced the gaskets and replaced a faulty lifter.
I personally feel that the last few patches ruined the game. If you are a noob with no credits or friends in the game you cant buy the eq or weapons necessary to survive a group of meatlumps. With the spawn rate, yea you might get a mission to destroy a bloodrazor encampment but go out to find it surrounded by 4 Kimo dragons. Without the chance of making a kill and getting a decent skill tape to help you level, it will be a long grind (is the game about the Grind or actually playing.....just a thought). With the GCW change a Noob can forget about declaring with Reb or Imp NPCs camping the med center, clone center, and Star port.
After almost two years of playing this game I have realized the only thing that has kept me playing this long is anticipation of something that will probably never come. When people begin to realize that the "content" of this game is grinding and not actually playing with a chosen profession; that the "game" is actually gaining exp toward a profession then a couple days later changing it to restart the grind all over again, membership will drop drastically as it already has begun too. The holo grind began this trend and the Devs have since encouraged it with constant changes at various times to various profession some announced other unannounced. When the Curb does hit, armour, buffs and weapons will be reduced in regard to their effectivness with the NPC's and Mobs stronger. That 1 month grind for your profession will turn into a 4 or more month grind even in a group. Noobs will be lucky to be able to set foot outside of major city let alone earn exp to level in the chosen proffession.
The problem that the original poster has pointed out is not an isolated feeling. There are alot of paying clients that are dissapointed with how their complaints have been handled. Most companies would try to make amends. The attitude of SOE is almost like "This is the game, live with it or move on". Lol, since this is my dime Ill move on. Just my two cents
