Ok so we get the speeder when JTL goes live, so TH why did you say in chat that it would go live on or about the first of October, that is the real question.

My local EB still don't know what is going on with the free speeder or the beta disk.

Because like all in-progress developments, things are bound to change. You people need to stop taking things personal when things don't happen like they were supposed to. It's not like he decieved you on purpose. I'm sure that when he said that, the speeder was going to belive around the first, but something changed that prevented that from happening. Get over it.

No, he probably didnt deceive us on purpose but after figuring out that it was not going to happen like stated someone could have made a statement correcting the first one. A lot of people have been asking for some info on this and we get nothing in response,which is the problem.

All you say, I'm going to hold you to this TH. I already pre-ordered JTL at Electronics Boutique in my local mall.
In response to my own message, I picked up my copy of JTL and it says pre-order on the box. Put the serial in, and bingo, the Naboo Speeder was in the inventory of my beta characters. Now if only it was in my live ones. Only bad thing with the speeder is that the cockpit has no controls (looks like im sitting in a bathtub with engines), so I'm not to sure how my character drives it, but oh well, I'm just happy to have it

The Faslh Speeder can be destroyed, but you can get a new one by typing /flashspeeder (may also be /flashSpeeder - you'll get an ingame email with the command syntax). Your in-game bank account will be charged 20k for the new one.
It sounds like an AV-21 and runs about the same speed as a Speederbike on flat ground. It handles hills like a Swoop (slow).
Of the three dual-seat ground vehicles, the Flash has the lowest windshield clearance, so visibility is very good. Even though the Flash has two seats, only one person can sit in it - same as the other two.
It decorates really well with a standard vehicle customization kit. I liked mine in Beta, but some folks thought it was no big deal.
I'm looking forward to getting the Flash back in Live. 8)

HOLY CRAP!!! A dev actually confirmed something concerning this issue? I am going to die.

I ended up like this basicly, too. After sending in a CS Question to EB Games just a few minutes ago, which basicly said that allthough I was sent the "regular" version, "There will be an E-Mail with the code sent out in 1 week."
As Yet, I have no idea what's going on, or will eventually happenwith all this latest mess. And allthough I can say for cetain at all, after seeing this message, and combined with the response from EB I got, one possibility could be that they WILL allow people that pre-ordered to still get the sppeder, by Emailing the necessary code to them, even if they were sent the "standard" version when pre-ordering.
Maybe this is how they mean foreveryone that pre-ordered,to still be able to get the speeder. Is how it seems so far, but stillhave to wait and see, to be sure...

I pre-ordered and made sure to keep all my recepts. When I got the game today, EB Games gave me nothing but JTL.
