Well maybe i am being premature, but i am sure that the guild I am with MAY want to do something similar to what you are describing.

Maybe we'll chose Omega as our call letter.

As for my personal ship... my luxury yacht will probably be called "Valkyrie" or something stupid like that.

If i get a YT series ship... "Buccaneer's Folly"

If the dev's give me a lambda shuttle... that will be named "Valkyrie" and the luxury yacht will be named "Hippie Bus" or "Hoopty"

Any TIE I have would go by the callsign "Omega 1"

but hey, it's all conjecture now anyways... till someone reports back from beta and tells us how naming ships will go.
