It will take some time to get used to the new system.
First off - you don't need stims to heal anybody. Stims can be used by anybody to heal themselves (and only themselves), as long as their combat level is high enough to use the stims. The commands for damage healing that you can use to as a medic/doctor are
/bactashot: Single target heal
/bactajab: Single target heal
/bactainfusion: Single target, heals over time
If you have the combat medicine tree in medic, you also have access to /bactatoss and /bactaspray.
Secondly, if you get the "invalid target" message, it probably has something to do with the recent healing restrictions. The old overt/covert system is long gone. I won't go into all of the details, but here is a summary:
As a Rebel, you can go to the recruiter and assign your status as either Special forces, Combatant, or On leave.
If you are Special forces, you can't heal Imperials that are special forces or combatant.
If you are Combatant, you can't heal Rebel special forces or those mentioned above.
If you are On leave, you can't heal Rebel combatants or those mentioned above.

The only way to go Combatant seems to be to talk to a recruiter now ... you used to be able to heal Combatants or attack the opposite faction to get a 30-second timer, but not any more.

I'm just standing butt naked near nashal, have nothing but my ls equiped and it says i cannot attack because i have armor on... I respeced from tkm to pikeman cause i thought TKM innate armor could be the cause but still same problem. Any ideas?

Your absolutely certain you don't have gloves or a belt on? PSG is the only armor that you can use.

you have no force bar, therefore you can't use a lightsabre.
you need to make padawan first.

No need to doubt.
I bet you a packet of cookies that as soon as you get a force bar you will be able to use your training sabre.

Well I have exactly the same problem, and having LS 0,4,0,4 enhancer 0,0,0,1 and all the novice skills I have a force bar !
