Thread: A question...

Stealing may not be part of Smuggler, but it sounds like the skill would be part of the Smuggler tree more then it would the Ranger tree. And stealing just sounds more "illegal" and "outlawish", which Smugglers are supposed to be. Since when were Rangers pick-pockets?

Yes, stealing isn't really a Smuggler thing... but it would really help, me atleast, feel that I'm doing something illegal. Which is more then I can say for any of the Smuggler changes, which just don't make me feel like we're doing something illegal. The changes still make it sounds like we're FedEx delivery boys.

It's because Ranger now has more to do with the underworld and underhanded dealings than Smugglers do. We do not need to steal, but we do need to be a part of the non existent underworld.

"Jedi claims of being "broken" are like saying "But my TV isn't widescreen! It's broken! My TV can't show high-def pictures in 1080i, it can only do 720i! It's broken!" Meanwhile, crafters are saying "We'd really like to have a TV that's larger than 12" and gets more than 4 channels and doesn't constantly lose vertical control", and entertainers are saying "Can we get some color instead of this B&W piece of junk?" And smugglers? We're listening to radio programs of "The Shadow" and "The Abbot and Costello Comedy Hour" and hearing FDR's Fireside Chats. We don't even HAVE a damn TV, much less a broken one or a "broken" one by Jedi standards. I'd LOVE to be as "broken" as they are." - The Legendary Solo4114

True... it seems Rangers are more part of the Underworld now then we are.

...one thing I've never quite gotten the hang of is just what the refires mean.

Would a typical .330 refire mean you're getting out about three shots per second (.990 for three), or is it more complicated that that?

You're right on track... nothing more to be said on it.

Oh. So that means Phoenix-HSI, with twin .300 L7s (EDIT: not EXACTLY .300, but close enough) is going to be effectively firing at .150 when perfectly staggered.

Six shots per second, and it's WO3-fix-ready.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure the refire time is how long it takes the weapon to recycle for the next shot. E.g. a .400 weapon will take .4 seconds to recyle until it can fire again.

Base value is around 273 for Bacta Shot and 191 for Bacta Toss, but it increases rapidly if you use modifiers such as Healing Effieciency clothing, tapes, food or drink, or enhancers (for Bacta Toss) or a medical droid.
