They do its a limited schematic made from Reverse Engineered looted componets. You SOMETIMES (very rare and after about 50 RE parts I havent gotten one) get a data disk (1 in a series of 8) after you collect them all you get the schem I believe it isa master SW schem with 8 uses.

I extremly doubt it...
In time of course we'll see the Firespray, in fact it might be likely that everyone might have one in about 6 months...

acctualy they wont be all that rare, once you get the schmatic, its unlimited uses, im 99% sure of that.

its limited to 8 uses...at first it will seem extremely rare, however eventually it will follow the same course as the av-21..dish out a mill or two and you get a nice shiney firespray

I did some last minute "research" in beta today. Managed to get one piece of the schematic whilst RE'ing.
How it works?
You reverse engineer stuff. All of a sudden you get a "system message" stating you've found a strange piece of equipment in the ship part being RE'd. Then the tool will spit out a schematic piece in your inventory.

And if anyone is interested in the small fact that it did indeed pop out when I was RE'ing a Kuat Systems Engineering looted component. Not sure which one though.

This is right, Kuat loot gives a larger chance of popping out a peice of the schematic.

well considering kuat built the original firespray
it's a nice touch, kuat parts only, making it a pain to find parts
it's not going to beeasy but if will be worth it
ihate to see the blueprints and cost of the chassie for this baby
man you are going to see a lot of steel being used

I don't think that the Firespray is gonna be that rare. I was messing around in beta on saturday, and i looted 2 out of 8 pieces to that thing within a hour of each other. Considering the amount of people that are actually gonna look for these things on any live server, this thing won't be as rare as many people think(but it's gonna cost a fortune).

there is npc controlled firepsrays i think it was an RSF i saw in space but it was the slave 1 ship not the firespray that is shown on the ships list cause it isnt all the same

Looted or RE'd? AFAIK you can only get them from RE'ing. If in fact you got the from looting then yesit will be a common ship eventually. The only firesprays I know of that were ever crafted was thru player collaboration. They all pooled their schem pieces and had one SW make them.
