I am a Rebel but I am a Privateer Pilot. I think they messed it up when they did this. If you are an Imperial you should not be able to train as a Rebel Pilot and vice versa. Imperials should only be able to train as Imperial Pilots, Rebels as Rebel Pilots and Neutral Pilots as Privateers. I believe if you are already declared Rebel and you want to be a Imperial Pilot you should have to give up your faction points as a Rebel and go see an Imperial Recruiter and get your 200 faction points required before being able to start as a Imperial Pilot, same for Imp to Reb or Imp to Privateer etc.Hue (Lowca)Master Teras KasiMaster RiflemanMaster Creature Handler (Retired)Privateer Pilot 3-2-2-2
It works like this...
Rebel = can train as Rebel or Neutral Pilot
Neutral = can train as any pilot profession
Imp = can train as Imp or Neutral Pilot
Where's the problem?

Thanks, but that wasn't the question.
The question was, are the Black Sun Ships ONLY for Freelance? Or are they available to ANY Faction?

I agree with you but I saw a Rebel in a starport and his title was that of Imperial Initiate or Imperial Pilot or whatever they are called. As far as Blacksun ships go I know Rebels can use them

When you say Rebel, are you meaning: "Alliance Pilot", or "Rebel Faction on the ground" ?
Thanks =)
Edit: And before anyone says "Well, they say Privateer on the ships section on the main site..." I'll pre-emptively rebutt with "So does the Firespray...."

i am pretty sure any faction can use the black sun ships, i am a rebel and have 1 ready to go when i get my cert for it so i hope so, and as for faction, i wouldnt be a rebel if they had a smuggler alliance faction like they do in space. but i dont think rebels can fly imperial ships...and vice versa... but i fly for the smuggler alliance. whoo hooo.
