Send me a /tell for help too UNLESS YOU'RE SHOOTING AT CORSEC SHIPS. Yes, Lursk, I'm looking at you.

I don't shoot at Corsec... I just shoot back at Corsec, sometimes preemptively...

The more pilots we draw into Starsider, the happier the pilots will be. Aaaand the more lonely it'll be on other servers, compelling them to make the switch too. Mawhahahahahahha!

Sounds like a plan to me.

Another story.....

I've been playing SWG for little more than a year. 99% of that time has been sent on Shadowfire. I have friends there. Good friends. I have a great PA (Black Dawn Squadron) and I am co founder of one of the most impressive Imperial cities on the server (Lurid Dawn Naval Academy, Lok). My toon has nearly 100 badges and is a Rear Admiral in our RP group. I've got some cool stuff to play with and kill things with, I've got millions upon millions in the bank, and a pre-nerf reward engine pushing one mean little TIE Advanced. Life on Shadowfire is good. It is very very good.

So why do I find myself on Starsider more and more these days? I am the head of a major city and very active base busting guild and a major player in our RP group. I don't have time to start a new toon and get involved with a new guild and town. I've got paperwork!!! I've got emails to repy to, memos to send to leaders, newsletters to send to residents and guildies!!! So why am I on Starsider? Why have I said "screw the power and the money and the stuff!!"? Simply put: To Fly.

Many of my friends can't understand this. I get RL calls and emails telling me I need to come back. "Why? Are thing falling apart without me?" No they are not. Our city is an Imperial jugernaught that will probably never die, and the PA is getting more and more Jedi grinders every day....and a few pilots. So life on Shadowfire is still good......unless of course you like to fly.

I have played JTL since Beta. I pre-ordered and once it went live I didn't do anything but play in space. If it wasn't for that damn vette spawn I probably would have made Ace in a week. I have had many many victories in PVP combat and a few losses. My personal best is 7 rebel kills in one day and trust me when I tell you that was a fluke....must have been a snowday or something because EVERYBODY was in space that day. But then I didn't see an overt Reb again for weeks.

In the past 3 days alone on Starsider I have seen more people, more overt players in space than I have the entire time I have been playing JTL. I'm not even an Ace yet and I've already got 3 kills (situational awareness FTW).

I love Shadowfire. I LOVE IT!!! But I love to fly. And hands down, Starsider is the place for it.

Man, that story I just read about the guy who ran the Lurid Dawn Imperial Academy on Lok... almost brought a tear to my eye.

I was on a similar, but slightly less wealthy character on Radiant. I love to fly. Sooooooooo I made the chance, FS character be damned!

I moved to Starsider yesterday from Lowca. I just got JTL a couple days ago and worked up to tier 2 in rebel pilot. I'm having a problem though. On Starsider the ships I'm dogfighting are jumping around like crazy, making it nearly impossible to exp efficiently. I don't know if it's lag or a problem with the sector since I'm new. Anyone else experience this or have any idea why it's doing it? It never happened on Lowca.

Also, it doesn't do this on the ground. Everything seems fine. But in space my ship jumps around weird sometimes and my enemies.

(You wouldn't believe how hard it is to dogfight a tiefighter when they're jumping around like this!)
