After you reread it a time or two it actually sounds like they're only changing the amount of XP you get for Bonus Group XP not your normal XP. Similar to the bonus you get if you harvest hide in a group.

Yeah, that's how I read it too.
They're trying to keep adding incentive for grouping, I really don't see them doing something to turn anyone off from it.

Patch Note says:
Added a new way to calculate group experience point (XP) bonuses. Experience Points (XP) are now divided by the total number of people in your group with an additional bonus for being grouped with other players. We will be testing out the group experience and currently group XP is set lower then we expect it to be set at.

Ok so 9k regular xp for a gurk...divided by 8 members = 1200xp each, plus said bonus (lets say half) for a total of 1800 xp.
Using combat experience per kill (around 900, divided by 8 members) This then converts to 180 jedi experience. Give or take a few points. That makes those tier IV boxes look really really really scary.
Tell me im reading these patch notes wrong, or that im not understanding something.
Sounds like they're changing the way the BONUS is calculated, NOT the actual xp gained...but who knows

yeah, after I reread it, I too come to the conclusion that regular xp is unchanged, just the amount of BONUS xp is and it's increasing!

Changed the name originally to reflect NPCs, and to better fit our RP direction.
Not to copy your PA since i never knew yours existed until later on the forums. So no, we didnt take your name. And i dont know who you even speak of as far as your friend on another server.
New name change is just to reflect the evolution of a PA and the RP. Keep things fresh, keep them moving forward, keep everyone interested.
Not a flame, just annoyed.

Check the second post about 21 notes on this forum, I just posted there.
To me it sounds like they'll change the XP amount so everyone (including lowbies) get the same amount and then adding a bonus on top.
They really need to be more descriptive though...

I remember getting 50 Xp for using force kd lol.. no joke. Kinda funny like that. 180 would suck and slow down the grind I think just a tad lol.

Every neurone in my brain is urging me to have a go at you, but I guess it's theoretically possible to get TKM without knowing this: teras kasi artistsdon't get armour certifications/mitigations because we don'tuse armour. We get 'innate armour', which means when we wear no armour we getnatural resist bonuses, the same as other professions get when they do wear armour. At TKM, yourinnate armour is roughly equivalent to a suit of armour with 6000 protection versus every damage type.

TYRiemei for holding your tongue. remember we must have patience with people who are new to the tk profession......then after they have been TKM for a while (oh say 3-4 weks) then you can open up on 'em...lol..
