exactly its in reference to the holocron... i've posted in three concurrent forums... according to this very forum the easist method of gaining a holocron is running rebel missions... so i post here thinking many other people of like mind... switch faction to gain a holocron and achieve force sensistivity quicker...

oh well i didn't play this game to be the third rebel fighter... unfortunatly i did it to be a jedi and as such i go where i need to go in order to get what i need to get done... roleplay i understand it isn't the wisest of choices.. but if i had a choice between roleplay or jedi lets all be honest who would say no to jedi?

Not really, FPs are the biggest grind on the game next to the Investigation XP. Some people use pets to draw the higher level missions, even though the pet steals a lot of the FPs per kill, the mission itself gives a higher reward. Although its not worth it IMO since those missions take so much longer to complete.

I run heaps of level 10 missions for 700 creds. I made the 12kof FPs needed for a Forward Outpost over one weekendand had around 200k of credits for all the missions I ran. It is just a boring grind. Oh and don't do PvP, you end up losing more than you gain.

Sorry if I missed this thread some other place, but... what the heck is the best way to gain serious faction points? I have a high level character and solo almost everything. Aside from doing level 25 missions outside Anchorhead that blow up 3-4 imp NPC's and the base that pay about 70-90 faction points, anyone know a better way? I want to get some rebel bases and am having difficulty amassing the much needed credits.

This is the only way i know too. For battlefields you get max 25fp if you succeed. Often you get nothing because the victory was too easy

If level 25 missions is the best u can get from rebel mission terms, you should find other players in that town and group up. As a group you will draw considerably higher difficulty missions. Ive seen diff 80 myself. That being said, you can just stay grouped but solo the missions yourself. The group merely brings up the difficulty of your selection. Getting near 100fp for the lairs alone is worth it, as the level 80 missions really arent that more difficult than the level 25s. Cheers!

I want to know how you actually get faction points? All I do are the mission terminals which obvioulsy doesn't give you faction points. I was talking with a Rebal Captain and he said that i had to have 200 faction points to join him.

Find a fraction mission terminal, located at allied bases or near allied recruiters, and do the missions listed on those for fraction points. Also, you can kill npc and pc of the opposing fraction for points.

i did delivery missions until i had the 200 points to join a faction then i went killing them.

i also want ot make a clarification, you can kill opposite faction if it is a mission from the faction mission terminal, just you cant wanter apon a rebel or imperial trooper in the open with no mission and target him.
