>>the only problem with that is most missions are bugged and dont' pay out these days<<

Idon't really think thats accurate. I've seen only two bugged mission out of a good hundred I've donelately. That hardly qualifies as most.

A hell of a lot of people have been complaining about missions not paying out so i think its a bit more widespread than a couple out of a hundred... The other day a load of RFR were they and all left after loadsa non paying missions

To make money in combat you seem to be doing the right things. Solo-group missions, sell loot, harvest meat/hide. If you're losing out in the trade forums it's likely to someone who has a crafter alt. The one thing I would suggest is tomake use of your lots. Even if you just drop them static and leave them. Resources are a great way to supplement your income. The more familiar you are with swgcraft.com and what resources out there matter to what profs the more money you'll make. Doctor, Armorsmith, and Weaponsmith resources will be your best bets.

Open Wallet

Go to EBAY

Pay $150 for 10 million credits.

Problem solved.

Though this is not the route for everyone.

I'm interested in upgrading my twenty eight point eight kilobaud internet connection to a one point five megabit fibre-optic T-1 line. Will you be able to provide an IP router that's compatable with my token ring ethernet LAN configuration?

I made a lot of $$ selling nightsister loot back when the biceps actually dropped. Then it was NS armor shards and segments.

Now, it's resources to armorsmiths, specifically.

take up armorsmithing, buy yourself 5 million credits on ebay for $95 bucks, buy a fleet of 15 mineral harvesters, 5 fusion gens (trade lots with smeone who plays actively on another server) and start harvesting like a mofo all the good spawns of High OQ and high SR metals and such needed for making comp armor. at 500k a suit, and if you make decent stuff, you will never run out of customers. Doctors, Weaponsmiths, droid engineers, tailors, are all good professions but you dont get 500k per sale. Chef's are also abig money maker and definetly easier than armorsmithing, but to make the best food which everyone wll want, you need to pickup bioengineer or become close butt buddies with one so he can drop schematics for food additives into your factories.

If your looking for strraight combat money, Loots is the only way to go, dont know what your template is, but i am a master swordsman/master brawler/master fencer/nov medic, i can solo anything in the game pretty much as long as i keep them intimidated2 (master brawler skill) and i dont take on too many enemies at once. and as long as they are vuln to Blast or Kinetic Damage, i guess stun also but i dont even own a good stun baton anymore lol. Mind cost is high on the ones ive bought in the past, i stuck with my scythe and power hammer (dont waste money on acklay bones, great for PvP but expensive for hunting and such) Get some good powerhammers and pray for a high damage slice. When taking on a big enemy i like to drop on probably 2 powerups and then let the rest of the damage go as normal.

Favorite things to hunt that actually drop loot that i can solo are

Nightsister Elders (20 minute death time, Good loot and wide variety of loot, attachments, weapons, shards etc)

Canyon Krayts (20 minute kill also, pearls, tissues, scales and segments)

Force Crystal Hunters (10 minute kill time, drops attachments, weapons, crystals, robes lol)

Giant Dune Kimogilias (i know i know, shutup! lol! ive dreamed of ris for a long time)

The Corellian Corvette (drops some uber weapons and attachments, and av-21's sell for over 2 millon most servers, maybe more or less)

Tuskens (High end ones around 20 minutes, Helms drop like 1 in 50 i guess from normal ones, High End ones drop armor and weapon experimentation tusken clothes only wearable by men, and other misc attachments and such, decent money)

most people denia;l this but a good weaponsmith can make more than even the best armor. armor takes a lot more to make and normally longer. but just getting krypt scales and using them in gun. you can normally get over a million or two for well crafted ones. while no armor will go for more than 1mil except ris or madoliraion if anyone every completes them. also 90% comp but they are so hard to make. while weapons just easier to get the mils

I made basically all my money from loot, though it hasn't been great lately, yet I still have millions worth of good stuff to sell if I ever get desperate. Though I doubt I'll burn through 23mil anytime soon.

I made a killing when holocrons were the latest fad, camped the Imp Weapons Facility, sold some, anywhere from 1 - 3mil. Gave a lot away.

Another thing I enjoy is looting weapon and armor components, going to either my weapon/armorsmith and having items made, of course they don't charge me anything because I pretty much have a barter system going on with them (give them other components and resources). Then sell the weapons/armor, which are usually rare or of extremely high quality.

Then there was the Corellian Corvette, I soloed that thing so many times when it first came out. Collected loads of components for the AV-21

Built a bunch and they easily sold for 4mil each.

Just be aware of new items coming out in the game. People always want the latest, greatest thing and will pay loads for it. It might sound bad, but

If you're not selling something for an insane price, someone else will.

Acefoghter, i am very confused by your post here lol

Krayt Scales are used in Armor, Krayt Tissues are used in weapons/guns.

ris and mandolorian isnt armor that armorsmiths rely on to make money

Suits of 80%Kin 80% Energy 80% electricity 65% or higher base sell on my server ahazi for well over 600k and sell out usually once its posts on the trade forums that they are restocked

90% is impossible to make, only slicing can bring it that high

The way I started making a lot of my money was I had very rich friends about to leave the game. I made about 1 million with that.

Also, a EXTREMELY easy way of making money is find underpriced things on bazaars all over the the galaxy. Then, go to a popular spot in the galaxy such as Coronet, Theed, orAncorhead (Ancorhead for some servers, since not all servers have a busy Ancorhead anymore). Resell your stuff at one and a half, twice or triple its value. While this method is not "ethical", it is a very common business practice in the real world, and gives me LOTS of credits in the game. This has given me about a constant flow of an extra 50K.
