OK i admit it, i was a holo grinding machine, latest holo read, BIO. i was unsure of this class and was not looking forward to this task. my 1st few hours were spent exploring this class and how things work. Ok my additude has changed, the more i explore the possiblities the more fun i am having! I still think you guys are insane but these new changes are making this profession an interesting one to play with. your guides and notes to help new BIO's are great, no other profession has this class in their forum, my hats off to ya! I am enjoying this so much im accually thinking of keeping it! just thought id sare that with you all. Again thanks for the great write ups to help me figure out what is going on and how things work!

Yeah...I was _very_ unhappy when my 4th holocron said "Bio-Engineer", but I'm having a blast with it too...I've been dropping other skills, but nobody is gonna touch my BE skill boxes!

I have to say, that when I got Bio-E for my holo, I was intrigued, but figured I'd drop it when I was done and never go back.

Now, I am pretty sure I will drop it, unlock, and go back to it (and CH and a little ranger) when I'm done. It is the only remotely interesting crafting profession now.

Funny, I got my first holo not long ago and what did it say? Architect... blech. No way I want to drop my be skills and I'd have to drop everything else to do architect. Luckily my other account is my merchant... his christmas holo? It said Master Merchant.

Yeah I needed a break from holo grinding so i bouaght a second account a rolled up a BE. I'm having so much fun with it I use any excuse i can to play him instead of trying to unlock Jedi.

BE is such a blast. I only went there for the title of geneticistto be in roleplay. Its just way too much fun now. Get 8 Longhorn pickets, 1 Baggerset. Put 4 Pickets and the baggerset in the Mental slot. Sample the clone. Put that sample in the Mental slot the rest with pickets and that in a Kwi. And Wammo, a gun better them my GF's krayt scout heheheh.

Pftt,holo's. Play whats fun till it isn't anymore, then try something else...it's not like the other professions are going to disappear overnight...

Thanks for complimenting the Bio Engineering community. I am glad you are enjoying your stay. I am a master BE and was really close to giving up but man since this new patch I have been haveing an absolute BLAST!!!.

this screenshot says it all, blew up a Kliknik lair in one hit. Has this happened to anyone else? My Flamethrower is 4.8 584-1110 damage sliced.

While occasionally I've heard of things like this happening (typically only against various lairs) I have yet to experience something like that myself...my guess, if I had to make one,is that it had more to do with the vunerabilities of the lair against Heat rather then the actual typical damage done by your FT, otherwise you'd be getting those type of results more often...

Chalk it up to a random thing, unless you can produce the same results against other Kliknik lairs on a more then just random basis (out of 10 lairs, how often is that amount of damage reached)...
