wow... people need to relax, i think.

nice. very cool. just 1 problem and 1 question


problem: it just seems to me that being a veteran should be like 10 months or somthing, cause everyone that i know, and that ALOT, have been playing for 6+ months. not alot of peoplehave been playing for 10.

I agree with making it ten months. As long as it can be unconsecutive, of course The current plan, quite frankly, blows. Something needs to happen with it...

heh, no, my subscription as still been going- no cancellation- so i've got the 180 days uninterrupted. What i'm wondering is: does that reward reclamation have an end date, like: "Claim your prize by december 10th!" type stuff. I really want the ship, but can't guarantee i'll get playing time for a little while- i don't wanna lose the thing (in other words, i know i got it, i just can't GET it yet, so can i get it later)

I have had the same problem.


I have been playing since january 31st. I went to claim my reward(and yes i bought JTL) and it says ive only been playing for 90 days?

I talked to 3 CSR's yesterday to give me my yacht and check out my problems. ANd all they told me was to type some command in which told you how long youve been playing. It said ive been active for 132 days? Ive been playing for 9 months total as of oct 31st!!!! All the devs told me was it was an issue many people had theyre trying to resolve and check the forums, and they sign off


I mean what kind of crap is that???

Check the forums? No doubt i read the forums every now and again, but why should a paying customer take time out of their day to keep checking up ona bug that shouldnt have happened in the first place, right?


Anyway....i only bought jtl because of the yacht, i was so excited to get in it any decorate it, etc. But now that SOE Screwed me royally and will give me NO sorts of answers, im considering cancelling my account. Every time ive run into some sort of problem in the past, i geta crappy answer and am sent in some other direction, and always left feeling bad because i wasnt helped.


Is this the future of our game?


I sure hope not. Theres a lot of new games coming out...Eq2, Worlds of Warcraft, Matrix Online......and ive seen over 50 of my friends already leave the game because of crappy service and broken promises. If they worried more about customer retention and fixing the problems before they get huge instead of packing more content into a game for the "ooos" and "aaas", then i wouldnt be writing this post.


Just my 2 cents, had to vent, thanks.

Another rant.


Because of the recent lag of people downloading the patches, i lost a VERY expensive item last night. My backpack.


I was deleting junk from my inventory, and somehow my backpack was somehow selected(probably a frame or 2 behind because of lag) and deleted.


In that backpack contained all my pvp weapons & armor....90% base armor, 39% stun armor, my high end psg, geo loot, acklay loot. Worst part was, im a swordsman, and in all my armor was 2 handed speed tapes, so now theyre gone.


I know SWG isnt responsible for lost items that you delete by accident, but this was due to THEIR server lag, so i wrote a CS ticket.


I got a reply stating that they would refund my backpack & gear at server start in the morning.


well, not to my surprise, i logged on, nothing was placed back into my inventory. So thus, i have nothing. I wrote another cs ticket and a different csr said they will only refund my backpack with no contents. what the hell? What do i want with an empty backpack?


I spent MANY hours grinding cash, and hunting for items. THe fact that they wont give me back an item due to their server issues is like taking money out of my pocket because we DO all spend money to be here, right? Stealing money, hmm....isnt that illegal?


If i dont get my items back, im not going back to combat whatsoever, im not wasting my time hunting down items, attachments and cash again. Its pointless. Maybe if we had a CSR/DEV staff that gave a crap, we wouldnt have this problem.
