Wait 24 hours, real time, as he said...
The info about this quest is in the stickies up top... and you have to wait the full 24 hours... to the minute if i remember correctly..
Good luck...

I think I do understand what your saying, if you are saying you want to use uncrated subcomponents to make your power cores then the answer is no you will need to do a small run of the artisan components etc in a factory so they have the same serial numbers

To see if you need factory crated items for a schem, when you make the schem and it goes into your datapad , examine it, if the item listed doesnt have a serial number beside it then you dont need factory runs of the same serial number, if it does, then you need that serial number

With only two exceptions that I can think of (structure modules and walls), *every* subcomponent that you put into the factory input hopper needs to be factory-made.

Actually, streetlamps will take *any* GP module, too.
The key is if it requires multiple "similar" components.
A single component or multiple "identical" components will require a specific component for the schematic.
Torches only need one GP module and data terminals need identical ones so those schematics would need specific components.

I made an alt, wsn't sure whether or not to go rebel or imp so I joined RSF.I only got as far as getting the ship, haven't done a single mission. Now I decided on IMP so I want to become an imp pilot. How do i resign from the RSF? I dont get an option to quit it and no imp pilots will talk to me. Should I do the first mission then resign?

goto bestine, there is a guy behind what looks like a bar that you need to talk to. you can also create a waypoint for himfrom the world map, hes listed as the freelance pilot coordinator iirc.
