... so to clarify find one that perhaps your city or guild has ...or buy one and place it in your house, or buy one of the Droids with a WDG crafting station built into them then they will appear on the list to make when you start your tool and highlight General tab
You can only do one at at time. Both holocrons will tell you the same thing, if you use the second one before finishing what the first told you.

In addition, have your friend try to get/craft the best possible WDG crafting tool (Tool Effectiveness of over 10) and access to a WDG station in a Research playertown/city with TE 30-40+. Some of the guild halls and houses with vendors such crafting stations set up. Ask the player who owns the house first if you can use their station as a courtesy. By doing this, your friend can decrease the chance of failure during craft and maximize the chances to get the most out of the resources being used.
Another option is to get a crafting droid that acts like a portable private crafting station and call it up while inside a Research city. Make sure your friend gets a droid with a WDG module.
It's possible to achieve the same effect using a public crafting station in an NPC city (with the exception of the X34) but why take the risks if you don't have to? I still remember the first time I crafted vehicles (TE 13+ on my crafting tool, TE ~21+ on the station, andin a research city)...2 failed swoop crafting sessions IN A ROW.
