Thread: Noob Question
sorry... PC probs.
Anyway, pardon the noob question but I am novice BE right now with 4222... My question is, I know that when you complete a box you should be able to craft whatever is learned, right? for instance, shouldn't I be able to craft a Gurreck because I completed that part of the BE tree? I was trying to make Bacta spray enhancer but when I attempt to do it there is no option for that when using my crafting tool next to a chem public crafting station. Is there something I am missing?
Thanks!
Yes ... anything over a certain complexity (I think it might be 20) won't show unless you are using a private crafting station - either in your own or someone else's house or else a droid with a chem/food crafting station in it.

Many of our items require both a chem crafting tool and a private chem station to make. I suggest inviesting in a driod with one built in you'll need it if you make pets, just fro combing in the field.

cool guys, thanks. I knew it was going to be a obvious thing... but I couldn't find the answer anywhere!
Are there any specific droids that come with it already built in?
Droids are cool. Their functionality comes from the modules you put in them. Some can take more than others (the most being an R3 which can hold 6 modules). Now, the food/chem crafting station can be put into any droid body but you might want to think about what else you need in a droid as well. My crafting droid is an R2 (for cuteness) that has a food/chem station, storage for 10 items (which is the max you can have in a droid) and an astromech rating of 6 which means as a rebel pilot, I can use him for flying as well. Er, at least i could if I had ever gotten farther than tier 2 of JTL but never mind that.
I chose not to have a combat droid/crafting droid although these can be useful too - up to level 30 and good protection for a low-level crafter in the field. I just didn't want my crafting droid to get damaged - I don't think it makes any difference if it does but well ... superstition ...
A good DE will be able to explain all this and custom make your droid for you. I'd check the vendor search to see if there is what you want on it, and if not, contact one of the more 'with it' DE's with an order. If you haven't got much money - then get a beginning DE (droid engineer) to make you up a mouse droid with a food/chem crafting station in it.
Hope that helps,
Dor
