I would vote for a Wookie Life Day Orb. So we can celebrate SOE for caring europian players
It was a real shock to see that announcment JTL IS AVAIBLE oct. 27 ! - oh and by the way in EU just nov 5, sorry. And one day before release.
It was not exactly wrote like that, but it felt like.
And I was dumb enought to buy for JTL another account for that ithorian, because the SW. I really look forward to see my HQ materials go poof with the many exp failures, because of forced hand crafting...

Distribution has nothing to do with SOE, why would they offer compensation? What loss have you occurred to warrent any compensation?
I'm from the UK and I already have it, so whoever said it affects everybody in the UK is wrong, quite frankly.

The fact is that when shipping into a country or a country that gets routed through a U.N. attending country means that parcels and packages will be stopped and held in customs warehouses till inspected. Now when we're talking about 100k plus of product going through that can take along time to process and inspect. Now imagine hundreds apon thousands of companies each with their own 100k+ of packages not to mention private packages that can get pushed through even a single country. Due to some really sick people out there, EVERYTHING must be inspected thuroughly first before it may ever enter a country who partake in the U.N. and under all it's by laws. (U.S. has the same importation policies but 6x more strict.) If your repsective country is not a U.N. member, it's shipping may flow THROUGH a U.N. country making the shipments required for inspection. This can take time and this 2 week timeframe can have this calculated in as well. While I do believe international shipping could have been thought out and performed better, European players would have STILL needed to wait a lot longer compared to U.S. players even if they all left the same day.
As for compensation for time lost, I used to play FFXI. It had already been a year in which it was released in Japan before it ever even launched in the states. You think SE cared? And unlike SWG or many other MMOs, we didn't get seperated servers. We all had to share with the Japanese players who most of which already had few classes Max lvled or pretty close to max. The whole economy then centered around the Japanese market which consisted of a bunch of wealthy people selling items for prices which would compare to 100 million credits+. That for a newbie player is very daunting to start off in. (American players have now overall destroyed what market had existed in that game.) Now in SWG both European and Japanese/Asian players have specialized servers which give them a nice clean slate to start off with and get to develope their own community and economy and not just "dropped" into an already steady flowing economy. I'm sure the Euro and Japanese players wouldn't like getting dropped into Ahazi or Bria as newbs with just 1k credits in their pocket and the needed weapons they have to get just to grind to the next box is 12k.

Bkiddin that post was way to arrogant...why do you think there's a European version of Star Wars Galaxies..and european servers.....
DragonBanisher..i understand what ur saying but our stores already have it in stock they are just not allowed to sell it.....
and every player that is asking for a compensation should think to himself...why the hell do you want a compensation
isnt receiving the game enough!...i just want the game....compensationscan go **** my behind...

It's not ego when it's truth.

DorTaul your comment was incredibly arrogant, short sighted and plain dumb.
I suggest you step down from the false impression of american supremacy and relise there is an entire world out there, this isn't an american game its released on an international licence.
i cannot get over how serious you areabout your comments buthow incredibly egotistical they are.
You deserve no compensation just because you live farther away from SOE than myself or my fellow Americans. The feeling of you deserving compensation because you feel you are wronged, is wrong. Learn some patience or go play another game, or develope one yourselves. Easy as that. If you say it cannot be done, then that is the difference in my country and yours. Here, anything can be done.

If stores have it and they are not allowed to shelf it. Then that's a publisher problem and not SOE's fault. Your publisher out there must be doing something or other and all SOE can do it post the date the publisher out there might want to release it.

Now GAME has changed thier release date to the 12th.
So far I have found nothing on either the Lucas Arts or the Activision sites about any delay. Something needs to be said by someone

Absolutely, that’s what is required!

Lucas Arts and Activision I don't believe are the ones doing the actual publishing. It's probably some locally based small publishing company in Europe somewhere that is dropping the ball. Lucas Arts is just licensing the name out... they don't handle the publishing or most of the production in this game.
