I think a better question about the launchpad would be "Why is the launchpad all screwy?"

Its matters becose the devs thinks we are idoid's ...instead of placing an x-wing or so thay place a friking marketing%$*# .... and i don't care if its supose to be rare or not... the devs just want 12 old kids to buy JTL

People look at yourselves! You're flaming each other over the fact the devs put a firespray in the launchpad! IT DOESN'T MATTER! The firesprays in the game anyway so puting one in the launch-pad isn't that great a deal, sure they coulda put an x-wing or something but it's only a Launchpad picture, it's kind of like saying having a jedi in the old launchpad pictures is bad because it markets jedi! (although i don't really like jedi myself )
