I just want 2 ships.


The Sith Infiltrator.


and


Nabooian Star Figher.



Those 2 have always been my favorit ships.

How the heck can a DROID fighter be a player pilotable ship?!

thats not what he was trying to say, he was saying that Droid Starfighters are inthe game already... npc's that you can kill. he used this as a backup to why naboo starfighters should be in game...


tbh, yes, the Naboo Starfighter might be a cool addition for RSF pilots only (quest reward or some sort), but with teh completely borked stats that they gave the prequel ships, im afraid of what they would do to it.


the way i see it, should have roughly the same stats as an A-Wing in speed/manuevering, and then have less mass. perhaps


250 yaw, 250 pitch, 1.0 spdx, ? acc ? dec (not too familiar with acc/dec lol) 55k mass, 1 gun,1 missile.


but id rather see some GCW era stuff put in before this ship the YT 2400 and 2000 for sure, t-wings, the virrago style ship for freelancers, more stuff like that. stuff that BELONGS in swg.

The ship I think they really need is the Skipray Blastboat. I am not imperial, but I LOVE that ship, and it is featured in SO many of the books.

Yes, both books are awesome, and they prove there is plenty of ships to add in the very current timeline.

They should add some Smuggler's quests that net you a YT-2400 from Dash Rendar. That'd would help shut up all the smugglers that complain on a daily basis about lack of smuggler content. I figure with all the times the smugglers have been overlooked, a "profession" perk ship MIGHT just make it up to them.

What would be the point of having a cool ship for smugglersif you can't smuggle anything.

How about the TIE Phantom from the awful Rebel Assault 2??



Looks cool and can cloak. Which would add a new twist to the gameplay...

Capital Ships would be cool. . . Or perhaps something along these lines, which would allow Pilots a role in the GCW.


On the ground you have Imperial and Rebel bases that require several different professions to destory. Why not do the same in space, but instead of using "bases" or Space Stations. . . Why not have "dockable/land on(or in)" platforms that are based on ships of Rebel and Imperial design?


For example, the largest base on the ground is a Detachment Headquaters. Turn that into a a Mon-Calimari Star Cruiser or an ISD? However, it needs to be something the players can "infiltrate" to blow up. Perhaps make it where the Pilots have to have more Combat oriented professions to take down. Like Squad Leader, Bounty Hunter, Smuggler, and Commando. That is just like a base on the ground, but leaves out the Bio-Engineer.


The Spawn around a "capitol ship" could be Tier 5 but more aggresive like the craft in Deep Space and more numerous.


Each type of "Space Base" or Capitol Ship would be worth the same amount as it's ground based counter part. Thereby, making Pilots a valued commodity and sought after profession.


(I can very well see a POB ship like the Decimator, landing in a Mon-Cal Cruiser "base" and disgorging a strike team to destroy the thing.)


With each Capitol Ship the GCW would tip in favor of the side that placed the ship.


That would drop the faction cost for all sorts of other goodies to be used and placed elsewhere.


Another thing to consider, would be, that Ground and Space could influence the other. For example, Imperials own Lok. Rebels own Lok Space. Imperial spawn around bases could be lower than normal, thereby making it easier for Rebel Strike Teams on the ground to take out a base. Also, with this senario, Rebels would see thier spawn rates and spawn around the vital capitol ships be hindered as well.


Just a thought for people to ponder.

Give it the cloak ability with a timer on it - so it can only stay cloaked for a short while, or it takes a long while to recharge the ability.



And keep its mass low so that it acts more as a support ship, strong in numbers
