not to derail this disscussion but,...exactly why would we be able to name fighter classed ships any how.....sure, the yt <insert name here> but im hoping we will not be able to name idividual fighter ships < X-Wings , TIE Fighters ect >....out side of a squadron name....
now back on topic.....
i see people are equating " Enterprise" with Star Trek...even though many a naval vessal has used this name...>now if they put the 1701 - <insert A-F> than yes its in references to the Star Trek Ships 
less im mistaking...in the movies if some one wanted to talk to an idividual fighter ... they didnt call for " red baron 5" butrather the sqaud name /ship number " Red Leader" or that ships pilot name "Wedge" < not accurate im sure but you get the idea >

Sun Crusher - Ship Kip steals from the Sun in Yavin system
Rogue Leader- Obvious
Executioner- Name of Darth's Super Star Destroyer
Black Hammer- I believe this is the Super Star Destroyer Admiral Dayla or whatever her name was takes to destroy the Jedi Training Center on Yavin.
What was the name of that ship Luke met that spirit on? The one he fell in love with Eye of Palpantine or something like that.
Chimera- Again a star Destroyer in the facility near Kessel that the Death Star prototype was kept at.
Gorgon- Same as above
