You got me, hehe. Yes, the Ubese shirt is under the armorsmiths craftable items, but it has no resists and no encumberance. It is only for show.(the ubese jacket has a "V" type neck and the underlying shirt shows thru. That is basically what the ubese shirt is good for, besides the look.

But no other armor will have zero encumberance. If you want someone to make low encum. comp for you, you might have to get the resources yourself. OQ and Mall are the most important for that. I'm not on your server so I can't help you.

Good luck.

Do you mean haven't yet been able to completely confirm? Thanks a bunch for the reply. I haven't been doing as much research as I probably should. Though I suspected droids would make decent containers for my not so legal gear. Hopefully it will work out that way.

Well that is good news. Not all of my gear is sliced anyway. I was more concerned with carring around spices than anything. I am not all that thrilled about the possibility of a fine. So while I am in a city. My droids can hold the stuff. In the wild I'll just shoot nosey imperials just like I would shoot a rebel. ...Ah to be neutral, and ruthless.

Does anyone know if contra band can be smuggled in droid compartments? I already have things crammed into a few droids as back up gear. Are these subjected to scans while in the datapad, or only when they are called?

We have not been able to completely confirm, but all evidence seems to suggest that droids are not susceptible to contraband scans.

This is not good, but it seems to be how it is working.

*editted to put in 'not'*

I was curious if it is possible to be a doctor buy your enhance packs then buff others to basically pay for your own personal buffs andheals?

I am a master Chef and want a break of the 48 turn around on one factory component. If i could swing dr and just buy my supplies then buff others to recoop my cost and maybe make a little bit I would be more than happy with it.

So can it be done???

Thanks

Depends really. I see doc's selling buffs for as little as 4k, but they aren't master and they don't have very good buff packs IMHO (not all of them, but most). If you wanna make money, become a resource trader, or a ranger better yet. People pay ungodly (up to 70cpu) for the best avian, least on Intrepid.

Its totally possible... you just have to find doctors that are selling their enhance packs...

if you were to sell a full set of buffs for 6k... and each Enhance pack had roughly 20 charges each.. you would just have to buy the packs for less then 20k each to make a profit... These #'s are just thrown out... but... it gives the idea of what you are asking

that's exactly what i do. When i finally dropped weaponsmith, i decided i wasn't going to craft anymore. The profit margin is down quite a bit vs crafting your own buff packs, but the time i save is much more valuable to me than the potential loss in profits.

And even though the margin is down, i've yet to dip into my weaponsmith retirement fund

i buy my buff D's at 18k for 28. thats 18 * 6 = 108k for 28 buffs or 3857 per buff.

now excluding expenses on a 6k buff thats only 2143 profit per buff......
