Heh, aren't the SBD's left over from those days? They still seem to kick some hiney.

The N1 was a hunk of junk. I would also like to refrain from having MORE Episode 1/2 stuff in the game.
I would be up for seeing itina mission/quest thingie....or a space type badge.
"....has seentheN1 Starfighter flown by Anakin Skywalker."
But playable? No.
Why do you think that the N1is a hunk of junk? I mean the tech for space flight in star wars has been around for what 250 thousand years and the N1 is what 20-40 years old.
If you ask me i think the ships in the OT look like hunks of junk just waiting to fly apart.
I dunno, I guess it just looks funky to me. A bannana with engines tied to it. Plus, if you remember the movie, it didn't seem fairly powerful. A little bratty kid who thought it was cool to do manuevers in it and just happen to get shot and land in the cargo bay did the only noticable damage to the droid ship. Put that droid ship against a squadron of TIE's, variants/X-Wings, Y-Wings, etc, and I bet you they can destroy it without the luck factor.
Personally, I think the OT stuff looks moreadvanced than anything. They just look like hunks of junk because of the timeperiod Lucas fimed it in. You have to admit, they do look a little more spiffy touched up by CGI, and not the models like they were when the movies first came out.

True but there where not that many N1 ships in that battle, if they had more of them then they would not have needed that lucky shot by skywalker.

I think there could of been 50 N1's, and I don' think it would of made much of a difference.
There were two different direct quotes that stated that the N1's weapon system couldn't penetrate the droid ships shields. Maybe if they all concentrated fire on the ship....fired all the torpeodoes they had, they would probablyhada chance, but they were up there dogfighting as well.
I guess I see a lot of players getting owned it in if they ever make it a playable ship. Sentimental value is nice, but not when you're getting blown out of the sky constantly.

In the movie, the nabooians didn't have a capitol ship with them. The driods had a space station. That reminds me, what were all the other driod ships around naboo for?

I personally like the styling of the N1, but I dont like the firepower. Seeing Naboo is in game, the ship should be in game as well. I agree with some posters though, that it should be won as a quest reward/etc...like missions for the Queen and or the Royal Sec. Guards, etc. I think they should be allowed to be used only by Privateers that have their residence on Naboo/Rori though, to help curtail some of the "I think it's Uber, Im getting it" thoughts that cause thousands of Jedi to show up in game when there shouldn't be :-) I don't want to see a Corellian fly one, etc etc. And craft are upgradable I THINK, so you can effectively "Pimp it out"...but I could be wrong.

Not at the moment, we have enough Prequal content. Wait a few months until the GCW has had some stuff put on it.

lol what time line. This is a game "based" on Star Wars and has nothing to do with any timeslines. They may as well add them in.
