Yeah what's the deal? It would be a shorter list for them to say which servers were up!

I bought some of these and used them the other day. I was dissapointed. The results took quite a while to get back, and it was the same information I had in my survey tool.
Okay, I see the point now. If I'm on Tat and want to know what's available on Corellia, I can use these instead of travelling there. Not bad, but I'd still like to see concentrations

Let me ask you a question: if you have a question about something that DE's make (interplanetary survey droids) and want to know more about them, might it not make sense to ask on the *DE* board for them to fill you in?

I also asked here to find out if you guys thught they were useful, the DE's are giving a couple of minor details like 'yeah we make em', but the architects and artisans are the guys who will use em so...

course I just checked it now (the DE post) and tI have 2 DE wanting to sel me them (thanks guys I'll be round later) and a couple of guys saying how they wnt to improve them. Which is another reason why I posted here. Because as we all know - us architects are well known for staying on topic.

There are quite a few kinds of droids. There is a post not too far back that has droid websites, you can go there for more info.
As to the number of droids..... all players can have 5 droids in their datapad. These spaces are not taken up by pets, you get 5, period.
All people can have only 1 droid out at a time.
If you are a non-CH, the droid counts as your one "pet", so you can't have a faction pet or non-CH pet out at the same time.
If your a CH, you can have your limit of creatures, plus 1 droid and 1 faction pet.

Still don't quite understand why Master DE's can still only have 5 droids - Master CH's get bonus numbers of pets that they can store and call...it's not like we will be able to take over the world having say..oooo..two droids out!
