Yeah, it's kind of depressing to read all these complaints.
I haven't had a chance to try it out, myself. Guess I'll just keep workin' slowly up to Master, like I have been since July. Maybe by the time I get there, everything will be fixed.

I started my holo grind and did Musician and Dancer.. then Teras Kasi. My first holo then said Ranger. My second holo said Ranger. My third holo said Ranger. I have yet to do Ranger yet, but do you suppose my 4th holo might say something else?
I really dont want to do Ranger, but I really really want Jedi. What should I do?

You just wasted your holos. Dont use another holo till you master the skill it tell you. FAQ is a good read.

So to do Ranger, you mean I have to Master Scout too? So really I have to do 2 professions for 1 holo? I'm really disappointed that my3 holos that I paid 12 million each for told me the same thing!

Maybe you should try to master a new profession and then see if the fourth one changes. I hear that's how it works too.

If you started the grind and have it in your mind that your not going to master a certain profession you might as well not even do it because its full of unpopular professions and with the average slot unlock being around 25+ professions chances are you will have to do something you hate

Actually I see your pattern. Some have had the very same thing happen to them.
What you haveto do at this point to unlock your slot is master ONE profession 6 times in a row.
Thats right, 6 times, train in master, drop, repeat.
I know this works cos I have had like 3 friends who talked to ateast 17 people who all had the very same thing that happened to you happen to them.
I also, lucky for you know which prof you have to do, WEAPONSMITH.
So crack to it my friend and congratulations!!

You might as well plan on doing all professions and just hope you get lucky.
Also if you paid 12 mil for a holo your frikin insane anyway.
