CL max to sample is 75 (unless this changed with the CU). Your DNA sampling skill affects how likely you are to succeed getting a sample, not your level.

Pet levels when you make one are affected by the dna you put into it, and the amount and type of experimentating you did. It's quite possible to make a pet lower than a wild version, or much much higher (after converting a CL 10 gnort, it became CL 100+). The skin you use has some affect on the minimum level the pet can be, but it mainly depends on the template that goes into it.

Ok after the CU i decided to Keep Master Rifile Master Ranger. I see we got all this terrain neg in Ranger. But as soon as I equip my rifile I am a slug. Wouldnt you think that as Master Rangers we would negate all the penalities of movemenet with our skill set. Seems the same if I am wearing armor or not. Wondering if others are seeing the same.

Does the entertainer Enhancer Buffs matter to us? Do we harvest more if we are buffed or not?

When I get off work I need to go and gather some Naboo Bristly. I beleive the best location will the that cave where the cats live. Anyone know what the harvest rate will be on these little critters. I also read that the higher the level of the mob the more that we harvest. Is that true?

Sorry for the question. I made this guy a ranger for a number of reasons. One being I am also an armorsmith. But the other being a have a friend that is a master Ranger and he is always wanting me to go out hunting. And its a blast. I been reading about P Darts and such Ill deffinatly have to have a go with them later on.

Entertainer (inspiration) buffs add 10% to all experience as it applies to rangers, thats really it for the entertainer buffs.

Not sure of the level of the cats. Im gonna guess 40 or 50 maybe. Naboo is mostly a noob planets. So I wouldnt expect to see anything any higher than that.

IM a combat level 80 Master Rifileman Master Ranger.

The Enhancement buffs do more than just grant grant additional exp. They also work towaards GCW stuff. If you were to price out a new ATST before and after the buff you will see a 10% reduction in cost. This also works for smugglers in buying faction. I think the best rate I have seen thus far is like 66 per point. That is a nice price seeing as the best I can get from a guildie smuggler is 100 cpu.

I think I also saw something about conceal in the patch notes last week. Anyone remember that or I am just losing it sitting here at work all day. And is conceal suppose to stay active once you engage your target. But still kepp you under wraps from the rest of the wild.

If you can take missions for narglatches or tusk cats then do that. Level 80 missions if it's possible. The missions will produce level 80 critters which will give you tons of hide (level 80 means tons of resources regardless of the type of critter -- for example a level 30 bantha will drop maybe 50 units of tat. wooly, but a level 80 bantha from the mission term will from 500+ units.)

There's also the monkey things - shapautsand veermoks. Veermoks can get pretty big, but I haven't seen any post CU, so I'm not sure what their level is.

The deal with maskscent / camo is this -- before the CU it would stay applied even when you entered combat, but they changed that with the CU so that it would drop when you entered combat.

This was annoying on planets like dath because your maskscent would drop and you'd get aggro'ed by every level 30 mob with 500 feet.

But, they've fixed it back now so that entering combat will not automatically drop maskscent. You might still get detected while you in combat, but it will not drop automatically, which is nice, as it keeps things that you are not attacking out of the fight.

I'm not sure if the weapon encumbrance against terrain negotiation goes away after you reach the mastery of whatever weapon you're using. I do know that as a Master Ranger, you can wear a full battle armor suit with zero encumbrances. I like wearing a ubeese helmet with my bone armor for some dumb reason, well until I found out that Ubese was recon and counted against me

Does any MR/MR know if you're still getting hit against TN with a rifle in your hand? It really sucks.

I do know that if I hold a carbine (master Carbineer), I still have a Ranged Weapon Encumberance. It does not slow me down too much (in fact, I can't tell if I actually slow down at all when I have a weapon equipped), but it shows as a debuff under my name. I do feel like the overall movement speed of my character is slower (no armor and no gun equipped). That may just be the crazy Ranger in me talking.

you're definitely slower when you have a weapon equipped. I did some testing the other night, was running faster without rifle equipped than with it equipped (Master Ranger / Master Rifle). Even started going faster when I was burst running and unequipped the rifle. So, it looks like weapon encumbrance ignores weapon mastery and actually removes / debuffs some of the TN you get from Scout and Ranger, making you move slower when the weapon is equipped. I didn't notice too much difference in crawl speed.

I am a new rebel pilot. I am trying to do a patrol mission out of Moenia. Unfortunately, my ship for some reason is docked in Coronet. My mission is to patrol Naboo for yadda, yadda, yadda. My problem is that when I get into my ship I am in Corellian space. I cannot hypedrive because the Z95 has no hyperdrive. I have accumulated enough xp to train the 1st box to get the Y-Wing (which does have a hyperdrive), however, when I go to the trainer in Moenia to train me, he tells me that I have to fly some missions for him first. I then tried to go to the rebel trainer in Tyrenia, however, he won't give me missions as I am not in his group and I need to "talk to my supervisor" or something to that effect.

What am I doing wrong, or how do I get around this little problemo? Any advice would greatly be appreciated. Thanks in advance and sorry for the silly, newbie question.

the spawning the ship at the wrongspaceport thing is a lovely new Beta of the Wookiees bug. I was under the impresion the new newbie ships had hyperdrives. Perhaps yet another bug? The pilot thing isnt so much a "profession" as it is a quest where at the end you can can fly all ships from a faction. You must complete a mission for each box.. XP is just a method to drag it out.Try redeeding your Z95 and going back. If that doesnt work you might have to buy a player made one ( z95). Those have hyperdrives.

You cannot speak to a trainer other than you own because your in a " squadron" It'd be like working at walmart in new york. And going to a store manager in L.A to ask for a task. Sure theyre both bosses at walmart but you know.... ... yeah

hope it helps.

Thank you! That worked out great. I bought a new blueprint, took it to the chasis dealer in the Moenia starport and unpacked the ship. It is now sitting in the Moenia hangar waiting for my mission! Thanks again for all your help, it is greatly appreciated!
