What? Of course you won't get it, that's what the silent part is all about! You might have gotten itto seeif you didn't have it trained yet. I mean, it's not the +1 profession that is silent. It's the last profession which you haven't done yetwhich is silent. If you were a BH and you had done 2 holo profs and your next 2 were supposed to be marksman and scout the holo would just be silent. It's late so I can barely write but I hope you get my point.

Their intention was to enact a pattern....but like most things in SWG...ht epattern is broken and bugged so its random

It was Marksman? Hallelujah. Another example of someone who got four elites from holos and a basic to unlock. There's hope for me yet.

FYI, its impossible to code a truely random number (or profession) generator. There is some logic behind how the professions are picked. There just might not be any pattern between the five you need to unlock, they could all have seperate code to pick them.

How is it so hard to make a random-number generator? I am no programmer so fill me in where I am wrong, please, but is it that hard to make a generator which chooses 5 numbers within 1-32 and checks that they aren't the same number? I think it sounds rather simple, but as I said, I'm no programmer.
