I am honestly tired of trying to fly around and just make kills on ships in space and everything you find are other peoples missions. I am so tired of BEEP BEEP BEEP I could scream. This non mission stealing thing has really gotten old really fast. It is really ruining the game to just explore and kill....

I think a Larger problem is that the duty missions are all on the same waypoints. So instead of just having your (in my case) TIE's flying around, I have to keep hitting "T" to get my OWN TIES. I can't just use my joystick to target my mission. So as yourdoing your missions you have to fish through someone elses.

I don't mind the Anti-KS, but the fact that I can TARGET someone elses mission is what makes me frustrated. I do agree with you though, I just want to fly around and kill stuff. But I agree the KS System needs to be in place, but again its the fact that I am aloud to target someone elses mission is what frustrates me to no end.

One thing I'm glad they fixed is that, in beta, someone else's mission spawn would attack you, but you couldn't retaliate and do damage.

I notice that doesn't happen anymore.

So its boring checking out some different parts of a sector , maybe some of the POIs (hint hint) rather than following someone around to kill their missions spawns? That's just lame, and a person would admit to being a kill stealer if they didn't think there was anything wrong with it which seems to be the cse here. Sorry its a burden to have to go look for your targets rather than following someone around who bothered to get a mission.

The BEEP BEEP BEEP annoys me because I can't tell that a ship is from someone else's mission until I chase it down and shoot it.

On the ground it's easy to determine what animal nests are part of someone's mission because of the name. But in space I can't tell.

Would it be so hard to have an identifier on the target so you can see immediately that it is off-limits?

See, that's an idea! Rather than the Beep Beep Beep...make it so I cant TARGET the thing. I run into other people all the time and you spend 3 minutes trying to chase this mob down just to find out it's the wrong one...all the while...YOUR mob is hammering your rear shields. They really needs to be a way to distinguish between YOUR and other peoples targets.

There are still a few issues with missions spawns though. First, if you fire on someone elses mission target, EVEN by accident you are now a target in their books. Second, If you have an escort target for example, every enemy mission target no matter whose it is will focus on your escort target. This can be frustraiting or kinda funny, depending on what you're escorting. Like when I was escorting doing the tier 1 duty missions on loth as a rebel and 2 other guy's missions jumped the nova courier. Courier turrets kinda kill stealed the other guy's TIEs before they got there which was slightly amusing. It apperas the devs are going to have to push the KS code past players and onto NPCs as well.

Okay go back & re-read this thread bud & please point out specifically where she said she follows others around to steal their targets? She didn't. The point of this thread is that it is impossible to tell mission spawns from non-mission spawns. I & others have made suggetions on where to go or what to do to break the boredom. And you made a suggestion too, which is also another valid suggestion. And I do agree with you on the point that someone would admit to KSing if they saw nothing wrong with it, but it's certainly not the case here. Might I suggest you look on page 2, 3rd post down and read.

i too am sick of the BEEP BEEP BEEP, i dont TRY to kill steal or destroy other ppls missions but therie is no way to tell the difference between them, other ppls missions should not be targetable as hostiles or they should be attackable unless its omething special like colonel hends shuttle for example.

I'll agree that targets spawned by another group's mission should not show up when you target nearest or next enemy; they should show up as neutral to other players not grouped with the mission holder.

If you just want to explore, try Yavin. I had a blast dogfighting in the debris fields! I've just outgrown the system, though, and may have to spend my time in Dathomir, Dantooine, or Endor, though. It's a shame, I liked the character of the Yavin and the Lok systems the best so far.

I've outgrown them, too. I level in Kessel now.

I promise the master missions that spawn there you want to stay away from.

here let me tell that.
Oh I am so sorry that you can't go around taking ppls missions, I feel your pain. I know I have always been very understanding of ppl that have stolen the hundreds of my ground game missions. I wish you the best of luck in finding more fun.

There is that better.

Casting flames with out reading & getting the point of the thread only makes you out to be the loser bud. But you don't need me to point that out, I think everyone here can see that for themselves. But thanks for setting the example.

Hmm might be this part of post "This non mission stealing thing has really gotten old really fast." Sounds to me like someone wants to go back to old beta method of stealing people's missions. Obviously could be misreading by me but I still stick to my point that it isnt all that hard to find places that spawn plenty of good targets. I don't know about you, but I'd prefer the annoying beeps to the annoying people too lazy to land for missions who want to steal others xp. It'd be great if others mission targets wouldn't show up red and targetable, but the alternative was far worse in beta.
