Everyone who buys the game is in the beta test, just like any other MMORPG ever made.

If Beta is running and yet no information on any such activiatys is leadked, then SOE had better security than KGB. Besides, all people who purchased the Fanfest tickets are supposed to be in Beta and they are not. So, I think beta if started is just in house.

Beta is not running right now. Currently internal Alpha testing is taking place. It is possible a few hand picked people have been invited to take part in the Alpha, but there is no hard proof there is anyone in. Its likely the game will go into beta then end of this week or next week giving us about a month and a half of beta as they had originaly said. There really is no need for a longer beta.

Exactly. But players in good standing who are long time vets, players who log in a lot, and especially day-one subscribers should have priority over noobs.
