Grouped is grouped, you are not solo if you are with a pet, a droid, another person who can't harvest, or 19 Master Rangers. It seems to get the benefits of being grouped you have to pay the consequences.
Want to bet this goes away after the "Droid Invasion or is dropped if you are grouped with a droid?" It would follow the SOE pattern.
I just do my hunting un grouped with my pets
Yes I have to keep a closer eye on them then grouped.
I don't consider this a point worth fighting (my oponion only! doesn't reflect teh views of my fellow CH'er)
MrHawat, if you feelwhat you saidis true, then when you clear the mission, then you probably feel your having your pet, should decrease the payoff to you?
Sony says don't exploit. So isn't it an exploit to not have your petoutside the group and harvest at 100 percent?
I truely cannot see the logic for penalizing the CH in harvesting for having his pet in the group..Also my level 7 droid that has no attack?
The programming can be done, but they will not do it if no one cares.

I thought pets were now considered grouped whether actually "in group" or not.
no, I tested this within the last couple weeks. If your pet is in the group, you harvest meat at 60 percent.
Quite frankly, I think they really need to be listed elsewhere. Having to invite them in the group in the first place is silly. It is also silly to beat the harvesting penalty that CH's get by not inviting the pet.

Though the devs interpretation: "Pets will now be considered grouped even if you don't group them but have them out. Pets will be considered grouped from the time you call them, even if they haven't appeared yet. Pets will be considered group even if they are stuck 200M away. Pets will be considered grouped for 60 seconds after you store them"
