Just another point.
A few of you are already complaining. It took almost 5 months for Galaxies to hit the UK and to say this is the most farcial release in history is a bit harsh. Take a look at Half Life 2.

Thanks Wyatt, any information you can provide would be appreciated.
On your second post however, this is different to the original 5 month delay of SWG, as it was only on the 26th of October that TH stated what the European Launchdate was delayed(3 day prior!), and as many are already saying here, it seems to primarily be only the UK that is delayed again.

i understand this isnt any of the dev's or SOE's fault. its down to activision and lucasarts. lucasarts due to their distribution deal with activision.
This has got to go down as the most farcical release in the history of games.
i know its not the dev's fault but a little communication from an official source rather than game vendors wouldnt go down a miss at this point. i mean have the devs or csr's acknowledged this issue? if they have i apologise but i havent seen one.

Please can I get some official conformation (from TSR/CSR) what is the current oficial UK release date for JTL?

Should you not be asking Activision since they are the distributer? There is no reason for the delay from SOE standpoint since anyone with the software can play even on the Europe servers. The delay is due to Activision not any JTL technical reasons.

They only tend to delete ones relating to SOE/Lucasarts

I got my Keys last night by emails, DL's the update today and been playing. in less then 10days, i will have the CD too.

I dunno why you did not import it. I pre-ordered 2 copies from gamestop. The bill came to $75 in total (including delivery) which worked out about £20-£22 per game..Thats probably cheaper than I could buy it here and I got the pre-order keys for the speeder too.
Plus Gamestop had it delivered to my house within 2 days of release!!!! WTG UPS!!!!
Now to me thats pretty impressive and cheaper than waiting to buy it here in the UK.

Someone has emailed Activision fro the forums think it was ThrashUK and they replied saying speak to SOE about the delay. So i think there is a collective passing of the buck going on at present with no one really sure whats going on. Leaving the UK players who can't order a key online with now what could be a 3-4 week delay.

Activison have now said the 12th of nov but its not confirmed and might be pushed further back. It WILL not be out by the 5th.

Look guys, we have been through this before. Some sites / suppliers are slower to update their information than others (maybe because they don't get the updates as quickly or because they are just slower to process it when they do). It seems pretty conclusive that the release date is now 12th November at the earliest and there is no reason to expect that this won't change again if it needs to. I seriously recommend anyone that is able to order their copy in from the states and hit Activision where it hurts the most.
