an ARC-170, it took about 30 minutes but i did it, i took some screenies, ill post em later on =P

I does not


The Corvette can be done in 5 minutes if you got decent pilots. All it takes is 4 good Spacebomb hits You can even solo it relatively easily.


Same goes for the ISD btw. use a B-Wing or even better a Firespray (much quicker in patch/yaw/roll) and you get it downed in like 10 minutes at the most (If no player show´s up to fry your a55 ).

30 minutes? Hmm, I need to time my self.


Enter deep space, lagged out. Head to ISD, shield and sec shield in one strafing pass, break left, boost. 180, engine, break left and up, boost. Turn to reactor, break up, boost. Turn to bridge, break up, ccts, bridge, break up, ccts, bridge. Oooh, pretty fireworks, end of lag. Well ok, probably gets close to 10 minutes.

A) we're talking about soloing, so the word pilots is meaningless.


B) note I said a Corvette Battle Group. Which you took to mean a corvette, and I intended to mean the vette, 2 gunnies, and escorts.


Re-read my post in the correct context, then disagree again if you want, but you still won't be correct.

I used to be able to solo the ISD in my Krayt within 5 minutes (longer if there was distractions). I'd do it in three passes. It was a lot of fun. I haven't tried it recently though, so I might have lost my touch

Maybe you should read more carefull yourself, i did say below the sentence you quoted that it can be solo´d just as easy

the Jedi boards are full of posts complaining now. Since Helios has stated that radar invisibility will now give people a Snare (to slow their movement) Jedi are complaining that Force Cloak is being Nerfed.


what many fail to realize is that these invisibility skills are not meant to be an "I can escape any battle unharmed" skill. these invisibility skills give you, rifleman, and now Rangers the element of surprise when attacking.



with all that being said, i'm just glad that we Rangers can finally use the ability that we thought up a very long time ago.

Rangers for teh win!!!!!

I think maybe the devs are finally getting comfortable with their code base. Force Run should be the Jedi escape tool not the strafing tool it once was. And Stealth should have a downside and moving slower seems more then reasonable
