why dont dev's just e-mail everyone thats on the way or close to the right path, and tell them something encouraging....like just an e-mail that says (from: dev...good job your well on the way keep going.) even something that small would probobly shut some people up, they could easily do this in one day, everyone that doesnt get the e-mail will know they arent doing something right........just an idea....me getting sad, me cant find holocrons and it's makeing me sad...dev's send me a ray of sunshine please

Yar BH dont need new certs, their specials speak for themselves. A new cert for the otehr three though, now thats an idea, does not have to be uber just not laughable.

Why dont they give each combat class aspecific weaponcert for a high level weapon that only the master can use. That will give people an incentive to actually MASTER a combat profession instead of dabbling in a bunch of them.

Sure give the nov BH a scatter, and the nov pistoleer the dx2, but at master....you will get to use the best pistol possible. (make it diffrent from the master BH though)

I think it will give people somthing to look forward to and will cut down on the dabblers. Just an idea.

What if muscians could make CDs? That would allow adventurers to have a way to heal themselves while out in the wild and allow some muscians to make some pretty cood credits. Of course, the CDs would not be able to last forever so that people in the cantina would still get some action. But if a more experienced/leveled up band made a CD it would be more powerful and heal better. This would also allow merchants to maybe pick up the ability to be an agent to record and sell the music. Tell me what you think.

GREAT Idea, except it won't happen, why?? Because other professions have many more important issues, if those are EVER fixed, this wouldcome after that. But, like I said good idea

Yeah that sounds cool, and require like another module in a droid or something to play it back! That would help us get credits, and the DE's too.

I've passed along similar suggestions to the devs, but so far they haven't shown much interest in this sort of idea. My speculation is that they're concerned about devaluing live performances in the cantina. If everyone can heal themselves in the field, why ever visit a live entertainer at a theater, cantina, etc? Of course, with so many AFK musicians these days, maybe the notion of a "live" entertainer isn't as important as it once was, but "live" performers can still be found even in Coronet, and certainly in private player cantinas.

Some Musicians have proposed other crafted-healing suggestions. My favorite is the idea of a craftable holostim that could heal mind damage (not mind wounds) in the field. Again, I've mentioned this idea to the devs, and again I have not gotten much feedback on it. The devs *have* said they're considering a mind heal for Musicians, but that's about all they've had to say about it.

To make MBH real worth it, put +X# of defense in this slot. I was thinking 50 to all, like range/melee/KD/dizzy but then when I thought about it, if you get pistoleer that would be a crazy amount. All this post is saying is please put ( X# ) of defense in the Master box.

Off topic, anyone know why some days I can see the Dynamic mission target names and others I can't?

Why not create a channel in-game for BH's only, i mean, someones make the channel, and put invite only on the channel (private mode) then, just tell BH's and invite them, and with time, all BH's would join that channel.

That way, we could talk, share experiences, maybe organize jedi hunt's.. etc.

It isnt hard at all..

P.S.: Sorry about my english, im portuguese

Well, I'm unsure weather I should put thi in a revamp thread or not.Anyway, we all know Smugglers need to smuggle. Many peoplefrom anotherprofessions havesaid, "Smugglers are okay, they can slice. Fix us first!" That made me wannasay sarcastically,"Yeah. I wear my 'novice slicer' title all the time. But those 'expert slicers' and 'Master slicers' get more business than me." Not saying that none of them have anyreason to want to be fixed, because pretty much all of them do. But that's off-topic.

Needless to say, this is about smugglers smuggling. My idea is this (feedback and changes wanted):

People will always have a 90%chance of aTEF vs. imps and police forceswhen they trade contraband. 100% if there is an overt imp nearby. This TEF will last 10 mins. to 1 hr. depending on how serious the offense is. HOWEVER, this chance will be reduced by half the smuggling modifier of the char., 4/5 fornovice and UW3, 3/4 for master.Example: normal 10% chance evasion, novice smuggler 22%, Underworld 1 29.5%, underworld 2 40.5%, Underworld three 42.5%, underworld 4 60%, master smuggler would give 3/4 of its mod for a +15 for 75% chance of evasion. They would also have a 95% chance of smuggling past overt imps, so those smuggling benifits would stay the same with an overt imp nearby 95% chance of the time at master (15% at novice,30 at UW1, etc.)they can not be sold on the bazaar unless by smugglers (or at all, but we could take advantage of how much they resemble stimpacks). Anyone could put one on a vendor, but impscould report it for a TEF effect starting next time they log, or immediately if logged right then.. Merchants, however, might be able to give the vendors skills with certain skills, better skills depending on their skills. This includes smuggler. So a spice or weapons vendor could have the normal smuggling advantages vs. this w/ these skills. So Joe Imp may say " OMG tehrs' a nootrin pixxee there! *REPORT*" but gets a system message saying "Cannot report Small Stimpack-As" or something, showing that the smuggling vendor foiled their attempt (Or "That item is not sliced!" for sliced weapons and armor). Also, you could only trade these things with a smuggler if they were grouped for you, or the smuggler's designated target is you.

Designated target, you may ask? A person grouped with a smuggler could request a smuggler missionfor the smuggler mission. It may look like:

"Mission giver: Laha Orgela on Tatooine

Smuggler requested: Haal Sola

Items requested: 5 muon gold, One sliced Geonosian pistol, One Sliced Jawa ion rifle, 1k dirty money (dirty is just for effect)

Mission target: Bob Ilikestuntypeweapons the Human on rori.

Mission payment standard: 5k

Payment offered: 7k

Would you like to accept?

Yes. No."

You can say 'yes' or 'no' to this. You can abort the mission, but the items must be returned (Via a 'return' option on the radial menu or trading back) within a day, or that BH terminal will have a new name on it.

If there is ANY imp in the area besides the smuggler, mission giver, one of their groupmates,or smugglee/target (smugglee's not a word, but it'd be a cool one), you may smuggle it past them (always if they're covert), but you will be reported as suspicious and may be stopped by some imperial NPCs or security officers along the way. If they or a BH kills you, you will have to return the item to its owner or be put on the BH terminal. If the smugglee is just in the group or something, no payment is required. But if you're on Rori and the target is on dath, then the smuggler hadbetter be well paid after.

If the target or smuggler doesn't log on for two days after, the items are automatically returned to the missiongiver.

This in addition to the crackdown, of course.

Chances are, as you know,no dev will ever set eyes on this. but still it's an idea.

How bad is that for a first post?
