If I drop a vendor could someone please explain to me why there is a 30 day timer for items for sale? I tried to offer my customers a good selection and had, until yesterday, over 1500 items on my vendor. Now they are coming off sale faster than I can put them back up! *Sigh*
I am about >< this close to just deleting the vendors and dropping the whole darn profession entirely.
If it is my "Employee" I feel the stuff should stay for sale until I instruct them otherwise.
*Sigh*
Thanks for listening,

many off us agree with you...
unfortunatly our correpsondant sides with the devs on this issue...some mumbo jumbo about people using it for storage...
items should NEVER come off the vendor unless you remove them yourself...
i am just sick to death of having about 2 days a month when all i do for the 2 hours i can play is just sit there restocking items in that clucnky vendor interface.
but have heart it used to happen WEEKLY...
also seems to me that if the database didnt have to track the TIME on these items it would be leaner and run smoother.!!!!!

I have the same problem as a master weapon smith... and I sell weapons at 20 cpu. I chalk it down to location, location, location...

I understand the duration used to be a week, not 30 days. Anyway, as I understand it, it's a database issue, too many items in the database if you leave them there forever. Now if they'd designed the database to be more scalable..... heh .. on the other hand, I couldn't have done a better job, I don't think, so I'll hush on that front.

Maybe you should lower your prices...If an item stays on your vendor for thirty days then it probably ia a bad deal

How far up do you have to go before being able to create the first creature? (any type).

you can begin creating pets at Novice BE, you have a limited number of schematics and they'll only be good for CH grind or 'furniture' but you might as well do something will all the trash DNA you need to get to DNA 1.
At 0,0,2,2 you can start to think about making decent non-ch pets, you're schematics will still be limited but you'll have enough DNA sampling to start trying vortior dashers etc on dantooine, its good for XP and the few experiment points you have will be enough for a decent pet.

You need 5 samples to make 1 creature, although once you have made the creature you can take samples from it (which eventually destroys the creature)
