oh, so they took OUR copies sothe americans could have them? How unfair is that? Just cause you don't have enough doesn't mean we should get none at all! DAMN YOU LUCASARTS

Well, what I find interesting, is that here in germany you could buy local copies of the game on the 26th in stores like Karstadt ... so you could go live with it the minute the servers went live with the new code ...
But then again ... nobody would like german handbooks in USA ... nor in the UK ... but what's with other european countries, like france, spain, italy etc ... do they get local copies (only the handbooks are different anyway).
What is most strange about this early release in germany is, that we have a new and really strict rating organisation ... now it has to test a game and rate it for children ... any game not tested and rated is only for 18+ ... and imports take a long time to be available in stores

Yep!, and here in sweden u could buy the game in stores right now.
And the place i pre-orderd the game from said they got it in stock
last week!???...hmmm....all copies went to the usa?, i dont think
so, its just an lame excuse cuz Activison want to get GTA out
before JTL....

There are stores that have connections to USA distributers and might have been lucky to receive the copies trough them...not from ActiVision!
Same for the germans! As the germans get a translated version...its a separate pressing of JTL and so they received their copy in time! pretty easy to explain this one!

Hey, I'm an American living in Europe and I ordered my game from amazon.de. I'm not sure if I'll get my copy when I am supposed to, but I don't really care if I do or not. There is entirely too much cool stuff to do in Europe to sit inside and worry about it. I'm so tired of everyone hating everyone else. Can't we all just get along?

I honestly wouldnt care because If I was on a canadian sever and saw that USA players were on my server playing the expansion, I would know that in just a matter of days I would be playing to. Just as you will be playing as well.

I asked a CSR about it and he told me that they didnt excepted to sell so many copies of jtl in the USA. So they gaved them our copies!!

The fairest thing SOE could have done is stopped any jtl registrations on the European servers until the release date over here. As due to the date being met in the US any US players on the European servers now have an unfair head start on the SW and piloting professions.
As to the shipping issue they easily met the shipping deadline in the US and is some cases players got the game even before the stated release date. So i'm sorry the shipping issue is not a valid excuse why the game hasn't reached here in time and has now been delayed.
There are 2reasons one hypothetical and one apossibilty
1.Hypothetically is it that the demand outstripped the produced games and to keep the US market happy the proposed shipment to Europe got diverted to there and we get the game will be released on the 5th on November.
2.SOE once again have screwed up a worldwide release date.
Whatever the true reason the blame lies squarely with SOE as to blame the delay on shipping issues can't be backed up due to people in the US receiving the game before the actual release date and due to this they could have and should have easily gotten the game to us in time.
Only bright side to this is the US players will be acting as additional beta testers while they iron out any last remaining bugs left over from the beta.
