I'm going to agree that Hoth is just too dead to be of much interest. If we're going to get another planet/system, we should get something a bit more populated, like perhaps Chandrilla.

I don't know what this Rouge squadron you speak of is, but Rogue Squadron was awesome.

Yeah I always thought they where gonna add hoth in JTL anyway its a cool Idea as its just snow so you should be able to get hoth clothing aswell like rebel hoth clothing and imperial hoth clothing it would be class as you could have only JTL people being able to get there - snowspeeders I still don't get how that would work if you have pvp it would be unfair as you could fly over the players waste em before they could shoot you snowspeeders is a sketchy idea but hoth sounds ace go for it is all I can say I want my Taun taun
and it doesn't matter if the planet is dead cmon look how many unknown animals they added t all the other plantes e.g. butterflys why on earth would you have giant butterflys anyway back to the subject it would be good because yeah you could do special quests maybe JTL specific like protect the crusiers from star destroyers
EVEN add the Super Stardestroyer In a Hoth Space Sector that would be so cool so you could board it and fight inside

See again the problem is you have NO reason to explore Hoth. I know people say "Well we have Jedi why not something else on Hoth" but we dont KNOW there were no Jedi at this time and it IS possible. But Hoth is DEAD. There is NOTHING there but a couple wampas. I have made many posts includeing my one earlier in this thread about whySHOULD NOT make it into the game (At least until the story advances) becuase of the simple fact there is nothing there. A total PVP zone is what some people want... but that never happened in Star Wars...
Guy- "Hey... lets get buffed and go to Hoth"
Guy2- "I thought there was nothing there?"
Guy- "Theres not... but there is now a huge combat zone that never stops"
See my point?
Tho for the quoted idea... that would be really cool if it happened on planets that acctually had a point in the game.

I believe if Hoth is ever added to the game (and more than likely it will be) There will be plenty of things there to keep everyone busy for a while.
First off granted in the "movies" there was a fierce battle that went on against Rebels and Imperials.
Secondly there were only wampas on that planet. Possibly true (but thats all the movies showed us)
Third no naked dancing. Thats just wrong. Nothing worse than dead twileks on the ground.
Prolly will add in the if you dont have a warm coat you will die from freezing to death
Fourth is something I like to call "Creative License" meaning that not everything in this game (which i know is called Star Wars Galaxies) has to be like the movies (which yes I /agree is way awesome) but since the game isnt called "Star Wars Movies" not everything has to flow according to movies and timelines they everyone seems to be so bent out of shape about.
Im not sure if it ever happened in the books or not, (but if it did ignore this statement) I dont belive the Geos had a cave on Yavin where they did experiments and created force sensitve creatures for their battle arenas. So things can be added in that never ever happened but can still have a Star Warsy feel to it and still be a lot of fun.
If the planet is added there will probably be a
1. Battle ground for faction fighting.
2. Underground dungeons
3. Snow Based NPCs
4. Snow Speeders (Which has nothing to do with anything it would just be nice)
5. New Snow Clothing so you dont die (always a plus)
6. Taun Tauns (meaning new mounts)
7. New quests invloving both Rebs and Imps
Every planet reguardless of what it may or may not have on it can still be a lot of fun if done in the correct manner. Hoth is almost just like Tatooine but with snow. Granted Tat has Jabba, Sarlacc pit, Krayts, and etc....
Hoth can be made with new monsters, new NPCs, maybe a snow overload ruler. Its all Creative License and whatever the Devs and Lucas Arts thinks will work is what will be done. Just because it didnt exsist in the books and movies doesnt mean it cant be created and still be the best thing ever.

They are most likely going to add in an episode 3 planet for publicity, but Hoth would be coo'

Where has anyone read that they are introducing any new planets?? If there's an official blurb please let me see and post a link
Hoth of course would be cool, but so would:
Notice Myrkr.. a planet where Jedi can't use the force Might be nice
Might be niceEdit- Frankly before they add new planets they should beef up the content on the existing ones. Think of how much there is to do on Tat compared to how little there is to do on Rori. Also this new planet discussion comes up constantly, and if it is in the works I'm thinking it's at minimum a year away from live.
