I also got the following email from them a short time ago

Thanks for placing your Star Wars Galaxies: Jump to Lightspeed order with us. We are writing today about the exclusive in-game vehicle, the Flash Speeder, which your character will be able to use within the expanded Star Wars Galaxies universe. Although your order was placed at a time when participation in the beta test was not practical, we were able to secure additional codes to unlock the in-game bonus Flash Speeder. You will receive your access code along with instructions to obtain your speeder via email within the next week.

You may receive your copy of Jump to Lightspeed before your receive the access code for your Speeder, but rest assured that the code will arrive shortly after you receive your copy of the game and you will be able to claim your speeder after you have begun to play Jump to Lightspeed.

you shipped with USPS? you wont see your copy for a week nah im just kidding, but thier site is horrible with tracking. Mines coming Fedex ground and im buying another copy in the morning

Heh. I'm doing the same thing, unless walmart has it out tonight after work

I stopped by EB games on my way to my classes tonight (college at night blah) and by gamestop (only a couple miles apart very handy that) both said they would be getting thier shipments in tomorrow. So I reserved a copy so I can game tomorrow.

I called them up around 11:30pm EST (I think i got the same guy from the ten previous calls), got my tracking number, shot over to fedex.com, saw it left the place around 3:30, left to some other facility in Kentucky, and is now in the air headed to good ol' Detroit.

Happy dance will occur mere nanoseconds after I see the fedex truck sometime before 3pm today.

I didn't pay for the next day shipping, but I would at least like to know that my order has shipped.

They did this to me on the Matrix Online pre-order thing too. I still have not received my pre-order beta key, and it doesn't show shipped, but according to the devs from that game, it was all sent out weeks ago to them.

I think what we're seeing here, and where the large part of the confusion is, is that obviously different store locations are doing different things. I was told when I pre-ordered through EBGames that the promo cd would be sent via regular postal mail. I canceled and just went to Gamestop here in town.

That being said, I think the best thing todo is to just deal with the store you are in contact with, as you will get different answers to the same questions here.

Just got off the phone w/ EB games, the chick said that they are all shipping today.... Sucks that I got the 7 dollar shipping instead of the 10, BAH.

I just called myself and they now have an automatic message saying they are all shipping on schedule. I also have the second day shipping be playing on thursday.

I spoke with them earlier as well, and was told the same thing -- they are on the dock ready to go, and should reach the customer tomorrow (the 27th).

I preordered from Gamestop many weeks ago, i just checked my tracking number and it says "Ussualy Ships in 24 Hours" (Used to say "Preorder ETA 10/26/04"). I really hope it comes today....
